Blacknest Cabin with access to Alice Holt forest

The Cabin is a self contained space in the garden of a rural cottage in The South Downs National Park. It consists of a kitchen with oven/hob, fridge and microwave and table and chairs. A bathroom with a shower. A large space with a double bed, sofa, wood burner and tv, there is also a camp bed or travel cot available. It sits beautifully with views of fields and has access out of the back gate to Alice Holt Forest containing a historical arboretum, Go ape and the popular Gruffalo trail. The space The Cabin is a great spot for Bird spotting with many species of birds of prey nesting in the forest and deer that graze in the field nextdoor a fantastic base for walking and exploring the Surrey countryside. It is just outside Bentley village 4.2 miles from Farnham and 1 mile from Bentley station with a 1 hour train link to London Waterloo. There is a pub 0.4 miles away that has newly opened. Other popular local attractions are Frensham ponds (3.8m), Birdworld, Jane Austins House, a number of wedding venues including Blacknest Golf and Country club within half a mile. There are an abundance of country walks and cycle paths just outside the back gate. Dogs are allowed (vaccinated only please) but we kindly ask for them to be kept on the lead whilst in the garden as we have small children (a charge of £15 per visit will be added for dog/s so please mention at booking). Guest access Guests are welcome to use the garden as they please, with a number of seating areas and childrens play area. Other things to note It is possible to book the cabin for 1 night stays Monday-Thursday but the guests are required to bring their own linen and towels. Otherwise bookings are 2 night minimum and the laundry is provided.
