A-MURI in the heart of Sicily

"A-MURI" (CIR 1908203C102319) is a series of charming mini-apartments located in the historic center of Gangi, a medieval city on the Madonie at 1011 meters above sea level. The apartments, built from a terraced tower with 18th-century rural/urban architecture, offer breathtaking views of the surrounding countryside and have been renovated with a contemporary approach. Each apartment consists of a living room, a bedroom, and a large bathroom. The "Grande A-MURI" is on the third floor and measures 41 square meters, while "A-MURI bello" and "Primo A-MURI" are located on the second and first floors respectively, each measuring 34 square meters. The "Primo A-MURI" boasts a charming bathroom carved into the rock. The building is a short walk from the Civic Museum, offering an ideal location to explore the rich history and culture of the area." The space A-MURI has been renovated with a contemporary approach while respecting the classic spatiality and its vaulted rooms. On the first, second and third floors there are three mini apartments: "Primo A-MURI" (sqm. 34), "A-MURI bello" (34 sqm), and "Grande A-MURI" (sqm. 41). On the ground floor is the "hall", a common space to be shared with the guests of the mini apartments, dedicated to breakfast, reading and the display of works of art. The mini apartments are accessible via an internal staircase characterized by the stucco vaults typical of traditional architecture. The interior spaces are dominated by a sophisticated color palette, a tribute to the European modernity of the 20th century and its most authoritative interpreter, Le Corbusier. A-MURI is a very evocative space, partly underground, whose identity is carved into the rock on which the city stands. All rooms are equipped with air conditioning, WI-Fi and satellite TV.
