While my home was built in 1954, the house across the street was built in the 1920s. There is a small Baptist Church on my street with a lovely walking trail and amphitheater. Lots of trees and southern landscaping. Deer seen daily. The neighborhood is eclectic mixing old and new and somewhat diverse. Great for dog walking and exercise. Hilly in places.... The best way to get around in Macon is by car. Unfortunately I do not have any disability accommodations; I have steps at every access point.
