Villa "POSEIDON" is located on the brow of a hill, offering breathtaking views on the Aegean sea and the rolling island landscape. The villa can accommodate families or group of friends in a beautiful, quiet setting. The facilities can cater for all the needs of a shorter or longer stay. The guests have access to the private swimming pool, the orchard, the olive grove, and the vineyard, the winery, the outdoor bathrooms and the chapel of St Nicholas. The space The villa is on a property which stretches over 10 acres on a gently sloping hillside. It comprises two buildings with private swimming pools, a winery,a helipad, two vineyards and an orchard. The villa is located on the brow of the hill, offering breathtaking views both on the countryside and the Aegean Sea, all the way to Attica. The three-floor house is built entirely with local stone. The ground floor has two bedrooms, one of which en-suite, and a fully-equipped kitchen. The kitchen door leads to a porch with sitting facilities and beautiful countryside views. Ten metres to the right is a stone barbecue. Through the kitchen, if you go up a couple of steps, you get to one of the two terraces of the house. The first floor includes the entrance to the house, which leads the sitting room, and one en-suite bedroom. In front of the entrance there is a porch which leads to the second terrace, which has a pergola and sitting facilities. On the third floor there are two en-suite bedrooms and a common balcony with sea views. All rooms have stone floors and have been meticulously decorated with traditional furniture and handicrafts. All bedrooms have WiFi access and large flat-screen TVs. One of the main attractions of the villa is the stone garden in front of the house. Built in the shape of a ship, with local herbs and a Greek flag in the centre welcoming the sea breezes, it establishes a connection between earth and sea. On the right side of the house is a wide lawn where children can play. Guest access The guests have access to the private independent swimming pool, the orchard, the olive grove, and the vineyard, the winery, the outdoor bathrooms and the chapel of St Nicholas. The property is approximately 10 acres in total. Other things to note As the chapel of St Nicholas (Aghios Nikolaos) lies right next to the property, it is an ideal location for wedding receptions, christenings, and other social events. Our guests receive a welcome basket with fruit, our homemade raki spirit and olive oil. House Rules Smoking is not allowed inside the villa. Please do not take bath towels to the beach or pool. Please phone 112 or 100 and contact staff immediately Swimming pool rules: The pool can only take a certain amount of people at the same time. The maximum capacity is 12 persons. If you exceed this limit there is potential danger for water contamination. There is no lifeguard. Swim at your own risk. Watch your step in slippery surfaces. Shower is required before entering the pool. No diving and no running around the pool area. The usage of the pool for children under 18 without adult supervision is not allowed.
