It was built in an old barn adjoining the owners' home, typical of the earth and stone heritage of the Cotentin marshes. Independent cottage, with parking space and private courtyard surrounded by greenery, barbecue and garden furniture. You will be charged an additional €15 upon arrival for the sheets for the second bed (unless you bring your own). CLEANING AND TOWELS NOT INCLUDED *** CLEANING: If you do not wish to do it, you will be asked to pay a fee of 35 euros (50 euros for stays of 4 nights or more, 75 euros for stays of 3 weeks or more). *** TOWELS: €5 for two towels per person. Gorges is a small village located between the D-Day beaches (20 km), Cherbourg and La Hague (50 km), and Mont Saint-Michel (90 km). It is an ideal location for exploring the entire region while also being close to amenities (Carentan, Périers). The closest beach (Créances) is 15 minutes away by car. Numerous cycling and hiking routes. On the ground floor: living room with sofa bed for 2 people, 130 cm wide, kitchen, TV. On the open mezzanine level: 1 bedroom with 1 double bed, bathroom with bathtub, separate toilet (enclosed by a door). The bedroom and bathroom can be closed off with a curtain if needed (no door; see pictures). A pack-and-play crib can be provided (bring your own sheets). You can charge your electric car using a standard outdoor outlet (slow charging) (a fee will be requested). At the back of the house, the owners' garden is accessible to tenants: there you will find the "fairy pond", sun loungers and a picnic table. Only small pets are allowed (small dogs, cats; please contact us before booking). Extra €25.
