Description
You are welcome to visit us in our meadow which is located next to the forest and river bank and feels like northern indigenous fairy-tale. You will be greeted with the bird songs, smells of the forest flowers and herbs, the calming sound of the bonfire, embraced in the peace of the river bank. You will be able to explore natural living in a magical tipi 20m from Ogre River. Here you can find time for creative happenings, healing gatherings or just simply escape the city with your loved ones. The space Tipi Niedre (50 m²) comfortably hosts up to 25 people for events and offers overnight accommodation for 2–4 guests. For an additional fee, guests can also reserve tent spots at the powerful Māra Church site or the scenic River Bend, also affectionately known as the "Gypsy Bay". The tipi is equipped with a cozy fire pit, mosquito nets, blankets, cushions, and rugs to ensure a comfortable, laid-back atmosphere. Guests have access to a shared outdoor kitchen with a gas stove, table, and dishes. There is an outdoor toilet, and the kitchen area is equipped with electricity and internet. You’ll also find a swimming spot and multiple fire pits on-site. For a small group (up to 4 people), we offer the option to heat up our traditional black sauna for an additional fee (chek our other Listing "Svētes pirts"). In addition, guests can enjoy 4 hectares of open nature, including forests, meadows, and direct access to the river. More than just a place to stay, we invite you to explore a variety of self-discovery and relaxation experiences – from sauna rituals, Mayan calendar readings, and nature-based sensory trails, to chaga tea workshops and tastings, authentic movement and art therapy sessions, wild food foraging expeditions, and even eco-building workshops. Guest access You’ll have access to a 50 m² tipi "Niedre", an outdoor toilet, a swimming spot, and equipped outdoor kitchen area with hammocks and a trampoline. You'll also enjoy 4 hectares of natural surroundings, including a river, forest, and meadows. Other things to note Life in a tipi is pretty wild so, to be prepared, we suggest to take care of yourself and get sure if you have warm clothes and protection from insects. And also, we kindly ask our guests to collect and take their rubbish with them when they leave. Additional options: - Sauna rituals; - Yoga, creativity, art therapy and dance workshops; - Wild- crafting for kids; - Vegetarian meals; - Chaga tea workshop and ceremony; - Sensation path with tasks in nature; - Foraging workshop.
