East Guest Room - Men Only

My Partner and I offer this guest room in our comfortable solar home. It's one of two guest rooms here, 3 bedroom 1 bath single level, 5 dogs that LOVE meeting people (don't be surprised) & 2 cats who run the place. Hopefully not a problem for you. You would have full use of the place. Parking is on a quiet dead end street. The Chickens & Ducks fenced off in the back of the property. PLEASE - Send (with words) a Check-In-Time & very brief reason for your visit with your FIRST communication The space THE SPACE This is one of our two guest rooms, next to the only shared bathroom. It is a good sized room with a Queen bed. There is a closet and dresser in your room, functional windows in case you like fresh air in the Summer. Frig, Stove, ice maker, microwave, Freezer space etc. in the common areas. If, by chance, there will be three of you we do offer a comfy sofa bed in the common area that can be had for 10.00 per night if it is not being used by the guest(s) in the other guest room. (first requested / first reserved) . We are at the edge of the city proper so there is a country-like atmosphere. You will find chickens (about 28 Hens and Roosters) and chatty Ducks on this property and randomly around the neighborhood. There are horses along the arroyo and even a Donkey down the street. Although sounding and feeling rural we are just 13 minutes from the Airport, 11 from Downtown and Old Town. Please review the location in the posted picture and what Air BnB presents. While GPS, Internet Maps, Paper Maps and Navigators will get you here fine we don’t want you disappointed by the location. Everyone that stays here loves the rural feeling while still being close to the city. Guest access This room is in our home so you come in via the front gate and front door. There is a doorbell button on the black mailbox with our address. Please send (type it out for us in your first message) ... an arrival time in your first communication so we can plan our day too and be here to meet you at the gate. (keep in mind possible time changes) Ring the doorbell on the mailbox and we’ll come out to greet you and introduce you to the dogs (they will love you) the first time you stay with us. Subsequent stays will be "Self Check In". During your stay We're available 24/7 for questions, concerns or just your thoughts. If not actually present then texting works well or knock on our bedroom door if everyone's in bed. We try not to be invasive but do enjoy chatting, sharing a meal together, coffee in the morning, TV etc. your call regarding any of this of course. Other things to note You will notice we have a clear face picture of ourselves in our profile so you will know who you are staying with. Please have the same of yourself on your profile before booking and ensure it matches your government ID photo. Our Check-In window begins at 2:00 pm and ends at 9:00pm … ===================================================== Please send your expected arrival time in your first communication. (Do NOT use the Air BnB Drop Down or Radio Buttons, they are unreliable). If your check in will be after 9:00pm due to circumstances outside your control request this variance ... WELL IN ADVANCE ... and we’ll see if we can work it out. In all cases please try to stick to what you tell us so we can also plan a productive day/evening. ===================================================== We have three listings and are not a Hotel with someone waiting at a front desk, so your help in coordinating is VERY much appreciated, we all have busy schedules, especially you that are traveling. No Smoking/Vaping of any kind. No Pets, No Children (20 or under), Drugs or Parties. It's a quiet neighborhood and we like to do our part to keep it that way. We’re also trying to keep the house scent free. That seems to be what most of our guests want as well. Animals Living here - - - - - - - If you are afraid of, allergic to, can not be around or can not be touched by ... Dogs or Cats, Pause here and please THINK TWICE. Our 5 dogs and 2 cats love people and have met Hundreds of Guests with not even one incident. (Chickens and Ducks are sequestered in the back yard). If you cannot deal with friendly dogs... do NOT Rent here, please keep looking. If you show up here and have a problem with our dogs due to any of the above, we will not "lock them up" ... you will have to find other accommodations. Please read the folder provided when you check in ... it will answer a lot of questions and offer many sightseeing options.
