Jocks Cottage

Jocks Cottage is a remote cottage located in the tranquil surroundings of the Donegal hills. Donegal airport is a 40 minutes drive to Fintown which approx 35 km using the road N56 joining R52 on to the R250 to Fintown Derry airport is 1.15 hrs drive using route N13 and joining the R250 approx 50 miles to Fintown Belfast airport is 2.15 hrs using route A6 and is 95 approx miles on to the N13 and join the R250 Fintown. Donegal town is 45 minutes and 50km to Fintown approx. The space Jocks Cottage was built in 1890 and is built in locally sourced granite stone. The property sits on 90 acres and is a working sheep farm. An ideal location for artists, authors, poets or song writers due to the very peaceful surroundings. Accomadion: Two Bedrooms Large Living space/kitchen featuring the original inglenook fireplace,where you find the cooking crane still exists. Bedroom 1 can accommodate up to 4 guests (with one double and two single beds.) Bedroom 2 can accommodate up to 3 guests (with one double bed and one single bed) There is one travel cot available and high chair on request. Shower room and toilet,and laundry facilities are available. Guest access Guests have access to all areas within the cottage except for bedroom 3 located downstairs beside the shower room. Outside boundaries are in place for safety reasons as it is a working farm.
