Guests can enjoy a self-service breakfast included, prepared in a kitchenette adjacent to a room dedicated to breakfast, enriched by a bookcase with art and architecture texts, thanks to the book crossing that many guests appreciate. The space The B&B Suite Templari is located in a historic residence in the center of Brindisi, originally built in the 11th century and renovated by the Knights Templar in the 13th century. Guests can enjoy a unique and independent environment of about 50 square meters, consisting of a sleeping area, a kitchenette and a private bathroom. The property offers two bedrooms: one with a double bed and the other with a French double bed. Guests have access to a private sun terrace, ideal for relaxing, and a small terrace where you can smoke. The B&B is equipped with free 24-hour Wi-Fi, LCD TVs in both rooms, summer and winter air conditioning, and an energy-saving system with electronic badges. Guests can park bicycles in the hallway of the building. Breakfast, self-contained, includes traditional jams, local milk and butter, orange juice, bread, pastries, coffee, tea, chocolate and Nescafé. The B&B is equipped to accommodate even babies, with a field bed, bathtub, changing table cover and table seat available. In addition, low-energy lamps, eco-friendly detergents, and the heating system are powered by a low-energy gas boiler. Brindisi train station is a 5-minute walk away, while the airport is a 10-minute drive away. The bus stop for the beaches and the UNLB headquarters is less than a 5-minute walk away. The host architect is available to suggest cultural itineraries and provide historical information about the city. The B&B is equipped for separate waste collection and offers flexible interaction with guests, who are completely independent but can also enjoy socializing with the host. Guest access The accommodation is independent and located on the first floor of an 11th-century building, the old Hospital of San Martino, without an elevator. Guests have exclusive access to a sun terrace, equipped with deck chairs, chairs, coffee table and umbrella, which they share with the guests of Suite in Templari b&b, connected by an external staircase. Next to the accommodation is the main residence, where the host lives, and on request you can visit it to admire engravings of Greek and Latin writings, symbols and unique architectural details of the medieval building. During your stay I am always present when guests arrive for check-in, during which it is necessary to provide an identity card (for European citizens) or passport. My interaction with guests is flexible; I live next door and am available for anything you might need, while ensuring maximum privacy. The B&B is completely independent and, although my house is adjacent, my presence is discreet. I am easily reachable for information or other guest needs. Other things to note The Templari B&B offers a unique experience of traditional Mediterranean architecture, with ancient family chests and a view of the city's rooftops, immersed in silence and tranquility. Relaxation, a cozy atmosphere, and that feeling of being at home are the strengths of this accommodation. As of June 1, 2019, the accommodation tax is in force in Brindisi, equal to €2.50/person/day for the first 7 days, with exemption for children up to 14 years of age. Guests can enjoy a 10% discount on all beach services at Oktagona beach, a sandy beach that is also easily accessible by bus. The accommodation is cleaned twice a week, with a change of towels, while the sheets are changed once a week. An iron is available upon request. In the house there is a sweet and affectionate cat, which does not have access to the B&B to avoid problems for allergic guests, but you might see it walking on the terraces.
