Family Friendly Suite, 12min to Shuswap Lake

Our suite is accessed through a private entrance to a small kitchenette, laundry and multifunction room that can sleep up to four guests. Our backyard space offers morning sun or a shady retreat from the heat of the afternoon sun. We are also located within walking distance to the Little Mountain trail system and playgrounds. Canoe Beach is a 12m drive. Our family friendly suite has additional floor mats and/or a playpen for kids, upon request. The space Your suite is accessed through a private entrance in our backyard. you are welcome to use the backyard, which is a shared space with our family. Our dog has a seperate yard, to keep her out from underfoot as you come and go. In the fall, winter and spring, you will hear music lessons in the adjacent basement room next to your suite kitchen. These are typically acoustic and begin in the afternoons until about 8pm on some select weekdays only. Guest access Your suite comes with a private entrance to a small kitchenette, bedroom, private bathroom, multi purpose room and laundry room. Enter through the garage and come down a short set of stairs into our bright basement suite. You can enjoy a cool break from the Shuswap heat with the AC. Outside we have designated guest parking and a fenced backyard that you are invited to share with us. Other things to note There are just a few additional things that we think are important to note. As a family with a 5 year old, you may hear the pitter pat of our son's little feet, his protests at our requests and his giggles of glee. We do our best to keep our noise reasonable, especially between the hours of 8a to 8p, but please understand he is learning to navigate his world and we are learning how to best support him in gentle ways. Through fall to spring I teach guitar, piano and voice from about 3-8p on Mon-Thu in the room adjacent to the kitchen of your suite, not the bedroom. We also have a dog that you may hear alert us to your presence from time to time, or protest her kennel time. she typically settles after 5min or less. She has her own dog yard, but given the opportunity to meet you, she will shower you with love and kisses. She is very friendly but still learning how to contain her enthusiasm. For longer stays or unexpected incidents with our family, we will need to access the laundry in your suite to do our family laundry. If that is all ok with you, we look forward to hosting you!
