Garden in the City

Welcome to our townhouse in sunny Silves! Relax on your terrace or in the peace of a quiet garden with old stone walls and fruit trees. Explore a charming historic town on your doorstep or have a walk in the nearby hills. The coastline with beautiful beaches, cliffs and villages is only a short 15 kilometer drive to the South. (If this house is unavailable you may want to look at my other house which shares the same garden "sun-in-the-city") The space The property consists of 2 adjoining town houses in the centre of Silves. Your house is at the back next to the garden. To access the house you walk from the street along a common courtyard. You have a private terrace at the back of your house next to the garden. The courtyard and garden are shared. It is a unique combination. You are a few hundred meters from centre of town but can enjoy the green and peace of a secluded garden. Guest access Your private space includes the house consisting of a hall, master bedroom, second bedroom, bathroom, living area with open kitchen and laundry space as well as a terrace. You can also make yourself at home in the common area, including the courtyard and garden, shared with the guests of an other house. Other things to note There is no air conditioning but the thick walls give isolation. In the summer there are portable electric fans in the bedrooms if it is too hot. In the winter the days are often sunny but the evenings get cool. In the living room there is a wood burner and a portable modern gas heater (if you want it) as well as electric radiators in the bedrooms. There are two bedrooms: the master bedroom has a double bed of 160 cm, the second bedroom has 2 single beds. The window of the second bedroom is quite small. The property is a work in progress and there are further improvements planned in the garden.
