Lauriston Stay, The Cartlodge, self catering

With a beautiful family home and the desire to be our ‘own boss’ the idea of venturing into the holiday let world was born. Lauriston Stay is nestled in Birch in the beautiful North Essex countryside, where a warm, friendly welcome awaits you. We are ideally located within easy access of the A12 and A120. Whether you want to revisit history in the oldest recorded town, walk in surrounding nature reserves, cycle (we can provide storage for equipment) or just be… there is plenty for everyone. The space Newly constructed during the summer of 2020, this private accommodation sits above a detached triple cart lodge, boasting a floor area of circa 55 square metres. Consisting of a modern decorated separate bedroom housing a king-size bed and dressing area, The living area has smart TV and sofa bed leading into a kitchen area with breakfast bar, microwave, hob, kettle allowing a self-contained break if you so desire. Separate entrance with off road parking. Check in 2pm/checkout 10am (can be flexible depending on availability). Minimum stay of two nights. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children or pets. Guest access The Cartlodge accommodation set above the triple car port is yours for the duration of your stay. It is totally separate accommodation from our house with its own private entrance. Other things to note The Cartlodge is built on our private property, in front of our own house, you may obviously notice us coming and going, along with our teenage daughter and 2 very soppy dogs. Please be advised the dogs will not and never have entered the cartlodge and if you are scared of animals please let us know and we will ensure they don't try to meet you.
