Description
Private room in a historic castle granary building. The building dates back to 1579 and used to be a repository of grain for the Červený kameň castle above the village. The room has its own amenities as shown in the pictures. The couch can be unfolded into a bed for one, potentially 2 people. Additional persons / more than 2 / are charged 6 euros per person to cover additional energy. We also rent a side room that could theoretically be rented, which would mean sharing a bathroom. Sauna available for a fee. The space The whole room is visible in the pictures. If you have any other questions, do not hesitate to write to me. Guest access Your room is located on the first floor and is accessible by stairs, luggage can be moved by an elevator that is in the house. There is a private apartment in the building that is not accessible to guests. Other things to note The building is from 1579 and belonged to families of Fugger and Pálfi who owned the Red Stone Castle and local manor at those times. Its main purpose was as a collection point of grain shares from people in surrounding area as well as to protect the grain. Placing the granary into close town had the advantage of constant possibility of supervision over the grains and fast reaction and protection of it in case of militarily risk.
