Chateau des Egaux

Chateau des Egaux, situated in beautiful south central France, is a perfect opportunity to fulfil your dream vacation. The Chateau is located on 21 hectares of private grounds, with private pool, a small lake for fishing, and a 2 hectare park and private forest. The nearest town is located 7 minutes away and provides a bakery, butchers and basic shopping facilities. Supermarket facilities, as well as wider choice of restaurants, are located 15 minutes away. The space The Chateau is built on the foundations of the old castle, which dates back to the 13th century when the castle included 11 towers. The current Chateau includes one tower from the 16th century. A second tower probably dates back to the 19th century when the Chateau was modernised. We are continuing to investigate the Chateau’s history. Some parts, such as the chapel and the grand fireplace, probably date back to the 17th century, when two French royal families married and made the Chateau their home. The castle is very well preserved including original paneling, floors, and fireplaces. Guest access During your stay the main parts of the chateau are in your disposal such as all living rooms, kitchen dining rooms, and of course all 8 bedrooms. Access to the attic and basement are not provided. The garden, forest and the pool area are at your disposal. Other things to note Renting period: Saturday to Saturday.
