Our 60 sqm apartment on the 2nd floor is furnished to a high standard and offers all kinds of amenities. It is designed exclusively with laminate and tiles and can accommodate 2 adults and 2 children. No smoking and no pets are permitted The space The apartment is furnished as follows: - The separate kitchen is high quality and fully equipped. - The bathroom has a bathtub with shower. From 10:30 pm - the night reduction of the heating is switched on and bathing is no longer possible. - In the living room you will find a sofa corner with a large TV and a dining area - for 4 people. - One bedroom features a double bed. - Another bedroom has a bunk bed. - A washing machine including color detergent is available for a fee (€5 - per wash) - Of course, you will find a clothes drying rack and - clothes pins in the apartment. - We are happy to lend you an iron and ironing board free of charge. -Bed linen is provided once. - Towels are changed weekly. Please use them only - in the apartment A car parking space is available free of charge on the driveway. Our apartment is located in a quiet side street (30 km/h zone), about 5 km from the health resort of Dangast. In the immediate vicinity there are: 1 pharmacy 2 bank branches (Sparkasse, Raiffeisenbank) 1 post office (Postbank is in Varel about 3.5 km) 1 kiosk 2 bakers 1 butcher shop 1 snack bar 1 doctor 1 dentist Varel, the city between forest and sea, is about 3 km away and has 25,000 inhabitants. It offers very good shopping with a small downtown and several supermarkets. In addition, the Varel harbor is an attractive attraction with very good fish restaurants and the smallest pub in the world. On the way to the harbor you will pass the windmill from 1847, where you will find an extensive local history collection. The spa town of Dangast is about 5 km away and offers many leisure activities, such as mini golf, guided mudflat hikes, a boat trip with the Etta from Dangast to the seal banks or to the Wilhemshaven harbor, an indoor and outdoor pool with sauna area directly by the sea, cafés and restaurants and of course the beach. There is also the famous rhubarb cake in the old spa house. Speaking of rhubarb cake, the Tapken family bakes about five tons of it every year. Did you know that the owner of the old spa house, Karl-August Tapken, was awarded the Federal Cross of Merit? Among other things, because he always made his private beach at the old spa house publicly and freely accessible!!! Like his grandmother and father, he encouraged young artists and free spirits, giving them the opportunity to exhibit in the spa house or on the beach. Anatol Herzfeld, Joseph Beuys, Franz Radziwill, Butjatha, Eckart Grenzer and many more came and went and left their mark.
