If you have extreme sensitivity to dog dander this is probably not the cabin for you. We do our best to clean all traces of the previous 4-legged inhabitants, but you may occasionally find a dog hair on the couch. If this bothers you again, this might not be the cabin for you. There is a switch inside the bedroom closet that operates the lights on the back stairs and driveway. There is a Roku for your convenience. You will need to log into your own accounts should you wish to access streaming services. The TV is small. The cabin is small. We have no desire to put a larger TV in the cabin. If you desire a cabin with a home theatre set up, this is probably not the best choice for you. there is an additional $35 for dogs (per stay not per dog) to compensate for the extra time for cleaning. Please note: The heater in the bathroom (covered by picture and bench) is part of the original construction. It has been disconnected in all Black Bear units as it was found to be a fire hazard. There is no AC in this cabin as the temperatures in the mountains are significantly cooler. The average daytime temp in summer is 75 degrees and average low is 51 degrees. We have had fires in our fireplace in August because the temp hit below 50 degrees. There are plenty of fans and an overhead fan in the loft.
