Our holidayhome Kruger Estate Wild Olive is situated near the Krugerpark Gate. The house is very comfortible and is situated near water with all the birdlife. Feel the nature around the house. The space KRUGER ESTATE "WILD OLIVE" is a luxery holidayhome in the North East of South Africa in the Limpopo province on the outskirts of Phalaborwa (town of the two summers). The house offers luxerious and comfortable stay in one of the most beautiful parts of South Africa and is located approximatily 1 km away from the gateway to the world famous KRUGER NATIONAL PARK. Holidayhome Wild Olive is situated on the restricted and secured lodge "Bush Villas on Kruger" on a plot over 1100 m2 and built in typical African style. The house has a large overhanging grass roof under which the large woorden porch (35 m2) . You have a magnificent view over the ponds. A wooden staircase leads from the porch to the garden and ponds. The house has a total area of 250 m2. This spacious layout and the ideal layout of the house, making occupancy bij two families with multiple childeren very convenient. But also with less people you are very welcome. The spacious livingroom with couch, chairs, coffee table, side table and satellite TV, DVD/CD player is very tastfully decorated, so you feel the African atmosphere. From the lounge/living room there are doors opening to the veranda (35 m2), which is full equipped with dining table, chairs en lounge-set. Adject to the living room is a full equipped luxury semi-open kitchen with dishwasher, ceramic stove, luxery oven, 2-doors refrigerator with waterdispencer and icecubemachine, microwave, toaster, grill, electric coffee machine, etc. Two bedrooms have a (locked) access to a safe and a private terrace with outdoor shower. Two specious bathroom, directly adjacent to the badrooms are equipped with bath,rainshower, toilet and sink. There is also a third bathroom equipped with sink, toilet and shower. This bathroom is ideal for use by the guest who use the sleeping loft. The loft is very spacious and is reachable by a permanent staircase from the living. Here can sleep 4 persons. It is all furnished with beds, linen clotes, chairs etc. Also there is a storeroom with washingmachine. The whole house is air conditioned. Also in the house and on the porch are fans. The house had (free) wireless internet. Furthermore is there an undercover parking for 2 cars. A remote control provides access to the entrance of the fenced area. The luxery holidayhouse is conveniently located for several excursions, incl. a safari in the KRUGER NATIONAL PARK ore drive along the magnificent Panoramaroute. You can take trips on your own with your own car of book via the reception. At the lodge is a swimmingpool. Near the lodge is a à la carte restaurant (Sefapane Lodge). Around the corner is a supermarket and gasstation. Guest access There is for guests of Wild Olive free entrance to the swimmingpool where bath towels are for free. Other things to note Houserules: Arrival & Departure Check-in is between 14:00 and 19:00 hrs. Before arrival you have received our digital information-brochure, including your Villa directory, things to do, restaurant suggestions and much more. Kindly report at our reception, where you will receive the key and gate remote, applicable to the gate closest to your villa. Check-out is strictly before 10:30 hrs. Use of Villas: We do not allow more guests in the house than that you booked and paid for. We kindly request that you do not move furniture around or to neighboring houses, unless arranged with management. Kindly report any shortages of, or damages to the inventory. Should you have a breakage or damage kindly report this to management, so replacement can be arranged. Costs will be for your own account as per the breakage deposit policy (see below). Please do not hang any washing outside the houses. Pitching of tents next to the house or in the gardens is also not allowed. Your villa is equipped with a braai below your veranda. Please use charcoal or briquettes only for your braai. It is not allowed to make a fire in any other spot beside the braai provided. We do not allow the usage of additional cookers/stove in the kitchen. Visitors: Kindly report at our reception if you are expecting any visitors, so arrangements can be made. We request that visitors leave the lodge by 22:00hrs latest unless otherwise arranged with management. If your visitors need to overnight, they will have to be registered and booked in at reception. Visitors are requested to park their vehicles outside our gates. Kindly inform your visitors about the House Rules. We reserve the right to deny access to visitors on the property. Lodge Facilities: Bush Villas on Kruger has a communal swimming pool area with pool loungers, that you are welcome to use. There are guest toilets that are cleaned daily. Children under 12 need to be accompanied by an adult at all times. Kindly note that swimming in our dams is strictly prohibited. Catch and Release fishing in the dams, ball games etc. are allowed at designated areas only. The use of our facilities is at your own risk. We do not allow parties or loud music at our pool area. Guests are also welcome to make use of the Calabash Restaurant, Tusk Bar and Misava Spa at Sefapane Lodge, our neighboring property. You can walk there via the paths past the dams. We have a copy of their menu at our reception. Kindly note their swimming pool is for their in-house guests only. WIFI: There is complimentary WIFI in each house. You will receive the password upon check-in. Swimming Pool Towels You will find colorful swimming pool towels in a basket in the pool area. We kindly request you not to use the towels in the villas at the pool. Kitchen Inventory: Your kitchen has been kitted out with ample cutlery, crockery, pots and pans for you to use during your stay. We check the inventory in between every stay. Kindly assist us to keep the contents of the kitchen up to date by reporting any missing or broken items. Breakage Deposit: A mandatory refundable deposit of ZAR 1,500 per villa per stay is required on check-in to cover any breakages, damages or extreme cleaning to the premises. All damage or breakages will be charged at their replacement cost plus an additional charge to absorb administration costs. Upon check out the deposit will be released in full from our bank within 7 working days from the check-out date, if no damage occurred or no extreme cleaning of the villa is needed. Keys and Remotes: Please look after the key and gate remote; we have to charge you when they are lost. You are not allowed to give the key and remote to any other person. Please remember to hand them in upon check out. Noise & Smoking: Kindly behave in a respectful manner to other guests and staff at the lodge by keeping noise levels down. Between 22:00 – 06:00hrs we do not allow any music to be played outside and request you to keep conversation or noise levels down to a minimum. Please note smoking is not allowed in the houses. Kindly smoke on the veranda and other designated smoking areas around the lodge. Drones: The flying of drones at Bush Villas on Kruger is only allowed after permission of management. For your info: drones are strictly forbidden in Kruger National Park. Lodge Gardens: Please keep the property clean by depositing any waste in the bins in your house or bins placed around the lodge. Kindly respect the flora and fauna in our lodge gardens. It is not allowed to break of, or damage any trees, bushes, plants or flowers or feed the wildlife. We unfortunately do not allow any pets. Safety: The lodge is monitored by CCTV camera system and security guards look after your safety at night. Kindly assist us by being vigilant and follow any instructions from the security guards. When entering or leaving the lodge with the remote key, kindly make sure the gate fully closes before you drive off. We live in an arid area with low rainfall and high fire risk. Please take extra caution with cigarettes, matches, braais/BBQ’s et cetera to avoid accidental fires. Immediately report any fires to our staff or management. Cleaning & Maintenance: Daily cleaning is included in your stay. Please allow our staff to enter the house to perform their duties. Kindly report any issues with housekeeping to management. We will do our best to solve the issue as soon as possible. Maintenance of buildings and systems will be done with the least disruption possible. Parking: Your villa has two covered parking spots. Kindly only use these and do not park your vehicle at another villa, in the road or in the gardens. If you arrive with more than 2 vehicles please inform management so arrangements can be made. Please advise us before arrival if you are towing a trailer, boat or caravan as not all parking is spacious enough for these. We reserve the right to remove vehicles (at costs) that are obstructing roads and entrance gates. Please note there is a 10km/h speed limit on our lodge roads and pedestrians have right of way. Lost & Found: Any found items are stored at reception. Items are kept for two months. We will gladly send any items left behind to you if requested, at your own costs. We cannot take responsibility for loss or damage to any items left behind. Right of Admission: We reserve the right to refuse access to our lodge or to remove any persons that are obstructing our normal operations as stipulated in these house rules. We kindly request you to follow instructions from our management or security staff in any emergency situations.
