Spend 2 or more wonderful nights in one of my unique Pods. Check in anytime after 3pm with self check in. The space The Snoozy-Owl Pod has all the amenities of the Sleepy Squirrel Pod and much more! More; is a larger pod with a larger living space which can accommodate a sofa bed to create a living area. Enjoy moonlight and star gazing in this Eco pod with all the luxury of a five star apartment! This pod has a compact kitchen, table and chairs for cosy dining, double bed and double sofa bed, an ensuite bathroom with a quadrant shower, constant supply of hot running water and a mains lavatory, heated radiators, and a heated blanket:), the bed is made with quality linen and warm blankets rather than a duvet for your safety In the spirit of "getting away from it all " the pod does not have a TV but I do provide a radio, books and games Please note: that WiFi is available on the front porch of the pod and the surrounding areas, the signal doesn't seem to permeate the 2 layers of solid wood, layer of foil or the wool insulation. Sleeps 2 adults in a double bed, and a sofa bed which is similar in size to a small double bed, with bedding provided included in the extra person price., if two people are sleeping and require additional bedding for the sofa bed there is a linen charge. There's enough room for a cot bed and I can provide one if required free of charge. The pod is made of larch wood, and insulated with a good layer of wool, there's also a layer of foil to help keep you Cosy and warm, or cool if soaring summer temperatures need to be kept in check... But this is Yorkshire so we live in hope:)) there's a double glazed bespoke circular door and a picture window overlooking woodland, this provides you with good natural lighting and air circulation. You will find plenty of coat hooks for walking jackets, a single wardrobe with drawers and a hairdryer. There's head height of 2.5m which gives a feeling of space, unlike the great outdoor tents. The pod is self catering, a local supermarket is just a short walk. Although, in the fridge and on the shelves you will find milk, orange juice, bread/crumpets, homemade jam and marmalade, butter and a good selection of coffee, tea, biscuits and chocolates to help you relax! These are complimentary just enjoy :) There are plenty of books and a radio in the pod. The pod has a stone patio area with a table and chairs for you to have breakfast or a late night star gazing experience... Guests are asked politely not to smoke or light candles, the structure is made entirely of wood, therefore for safety reasons naked flames are not allowed under any circumstances . For ambiance I can provide you with some LED flickering tea lights. Please note: I do not charge a cleaning fee, instead I trust that you will look after my little Snoozy Owl Pod. The prices quoted are weekdays Monday to Thursday, the price increases slights for Friday and Saturday bookings. Guest access The self contained fully equipped Snoozy Owl Pod is a welcoming home from home and guests can feel at ease in their private cosy Pod., with an ensuite bathroom and fully equipped mini kitchen and all linen is provided. You will find ample parking on the drive . If you want to access the main house to watch TV, use the computer, or pick up full wifi signal, or have a coffee with your host, just knock on the door, or unplug the lawnmower that will get my attention, I love my home and I'm usually available should you need anything, I will welcome you in. Other things to note The immediate area is very quiet and peaceful, a few dog walkers going past each morning and evening, and from your window you can see wild rabbits running around the woodland and the neighbouring owl can be heard hooting at night. The pod is in my garden with lawns patios, flowerbeds and trees, the bed area of the Pod overlooks the adjacent woodland, sit in bed and enjoy the peaceful view and birdsong... In the Snoozy Owl Pod you will find tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates, fresh milk in the fridge, to start your break, there's nothing quite like a welcoming cup of tea after a long journey or walk...
