olga's house halikounas (a few steps from the sea)

This traditional house is located in Halikounas, a virgin, protected area on the southwest coast of Corfu. It is built a few meters above of the most beautiful beach of corfu. Quiet for families and romantic for couples, and therefore it is the ideal destination for your holidays. The space The house is 100 m2 and is built on a 5000-m2 yard full of fig, olive, lemon ,orange,pine and many other different kind of trees.Plants like geranium,roses,margaritas,passifloras and levantas are bloοming around the garden. The apartment is in the upper floor of the house with a separate entrance, and it consists of a comfortably furnished living room with a fireplace and a flat-screen TV, a fully equipped kitchen with a dining area, three bedrooms where 6 to 7 people can sleep comfortably and three large balconies, two if them with a view to the lake and the sea.The floor is made from marble. There are one air conditioner at the living room and kitchen and electric fans at the three bedrooms in case you feel hot.Also there is a fire place that can be used if you wish! At the ground floor there two renting appartments 50 m each. The one consists of two bedrooms where can sleep 4 personnes, a kitchen and one bathroom. The other consists of one bedroom , living room , kitchen and one bathroom. The windows have nets so the guests are protected from the insects. You can spend your time swimming in the crystal waters or taking part in water sports ( kite,surf ) or walking in the nature exploring the lake and the mountains of the surrounding area.. The team of kite surf organizes bicycle tours in southern corfu. The horse riding scool is always available if you wish to ride a horse at the beach. But if you don t like sports you just can relax at the sun beds under the pine trees in the yard of the house just listening to the waves and the birds. During your stay always are offered welcoming meals,fruits from the garden .greek coffe and home made plates. Guest access The guests can walk around the garden and see the different kind of trees.It s allowed to sit at the big table under the cones trees, use the swing and take their shower at the garden.
