Tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in the country, the Shady Oaks Retreat is the perfect place to relax and breathe, yet also close to DFW and near the eclectic town of Denton. The cottage is located on the back of our property, has its own semi-private patio sheltered by oak trees, and views of pasture land, an ideal spot for escaping busy life and enjoying local wildlife. We live on the property and are often on the back porch and in the backyard. Happy to say “Hi.”The cottage is also setup for guests to have privacy. We are in the back left corner of the cottage to tend the chickens some. You’d see us if on the cottage porch.
