Description

Beautiful mountain home on 4 acres with soaring ceilings, moss rock fireplace, pellet stove, 4 bedrooms, 2 baths. Snow-capped peak views, gorgeous sunsets, and abundant wildlife. Ideal for families or friends seeking a peaceful retreat in nature, close to the attractions of Denver and Evergreen as well as Red Rocks amphitheater and skiing. Incredible value--sleeps up to 11! Not suited to groups looking for a place to party, as this is a quiet mountain neighborhood. The space Family-friendly: main level bedroom #1 (king) is close to the 2nd bedroom with 1 double and 1 twin bed. Upstairs, bedroom #3 has a queen bed and bedroom #4 can be a king bed or two twins. Sitting area has a queen size sleeper sofa. Board games and kitchen essentials make it easy to have a relaxing night in! For guests with a baby: portable crib, baby gates, and booster seat provided. Outside, enjoy the grill, large deck, patio, wildlife, and views that will amaze you. Please note that this is a cabin in the woods, and fast internet is not available in this area. You will be able to stream and work online, but not at high speeds. $95 pet fee will be charged. Please let us know what animals you have, we need to confirm number and size. Pets must be on leash (we want to keep your pets safe from wild animals too!) Guest access You will have access to the whole house and grounds. There is ample parking for up to 2 cars. We have a lockbox for self check-in. While you can get Lyft and Uber here (and those are great options for people attending Red Rocks concerts), it's pretty difficult to get around without a car in the mountains. Several things to note: -Other guests live in a separate apartment (under the deck of the main house). Other than the deck, there are no shared walls or floors. However, because the deck is over their ceiling we do ask that you use other spaces between 9 pm and 7 am. The stone patio is available anytime, as long as the noise level is not such that it would disturb our mountain neighbors. While we do our best to maintain your privacy, please also respect the privacy of our caretakers and neighbors by not knocking on their doors or windows and refraining from flying drones on the property. -Pet fee of $95 is required before check-in. If you report pets when booking it'll be added automatically, but please let us know how many and what kind of pets you are bringing. There is no fenced yard, and pets must be on a leash. -Please note that this is now a non-smoking property (even outside) due to frequent drought in Colorado and high fire danger in recent years. -Early check-in (before 4 pm) is not permitted without advance permission in order to allow for a thorough cleaning. -Late check out without permission will result in a $100 fee; we must ensure time to turn the house around for other guests. -The cleaning fee covers a several hour 5 step sanitization routine for the whole house. Additional cleaning fee may be incurred for damage or excessive mess left behind that substantially adds time to the cleaning, such as pet messes and cleaning that requires changing the water in the hot tub. -To guests who are checking in during summer months: Like many mountain homes, this house does not have AC (but it does have a swamp cooler). The best way to keep cool in the summer is to open the windows in the evening and close them in the morning (and close the curtains on the West windows in the late afternoon). Normally, highs don't get higher than the 80's and lows at night are usually 65 or lower. We also have several fans. Other things to note 4th bedroom has a king sized bed that can be converted to 2 twin beds. Let us know how you want us to make it up. Sitting area/TV room on 2nd floor has an L-shaped sofa that makes into a queen bed.
