Rental unit in IJmuiden

A wonderfully comfortable place for a family or couple. 5 minutes by car to Ijmuiderslag Beach (where there is always parking available!). F1: Zandvoort is 8 km away. We love our cozy place, great for a small family or a couple, just a 5-minute drive to the beach or a 20-minute walk – but if you prefer, use the bikes! The apartment has a relaxing outdoor area. A half-hour drive from Amsterdam and Haarlem. F1: 8 km away! The space We just renovated our ground floor apartment and put in a renewed our bathroom! This close-to-the-beach (20 minute walk) apartment is a practical and a chill place with a comfy outdoor space, lounge sitting, table, beach gear to use, cool-box, parasols and so on. The living room couch is comfy and there's a TV (incl Netflix and all) + wifi and a small JBL speaker, so you can stream your music. There are two bedrooms, both have very comfy beds. Please note (!!!**) the smaller room has a bed sized 1.40m x 2m which means for two grown-ups it's quite tight. The larger bedroom has a bed sized 1.60m x 2m. You can park your car right in front of this apartment (free of charge). Easy! The beach is 2km away, and it has two wonderful beach-hangouts, our favourite one being High Tide. One thing to be aware of: as of April/May, seagulls start nesting and make a lot of noise in the early mornings (especially in June and July). So bring earplugs or wake up early :) For nature lovers --The apartment is right next to the beautiful 'Kennemerduinen': a natural reserve alongside the coast where you can take beautiful walks, go biking or running. You will pass bisons and rare birds in the bird-reserve called the 'Vogelmeer' (Bird-Lake). The paths in Kennemerduinen lead you to other beaches such as the very hipster Bloemendaal. For Formula 1 lovers: the Zandvoort Racing Track is only 8km away. Also, from Ijmuiden you can easily explore the rest of Holland, including beautiful cities such as Amsterdam and Haarlem (both are only half an hour away and public transport connections are good/easy). We love our place and use it ourselves, which means we have personal belongings here. We would like to ask you to be respectful of this. This is a residential area, which means (sorry) no partying! Guest access You have the entire space/apartment and patio to yourselves. Other things to note It's a resident area so you will be around locals. Also, as of March the seagulls start nesting and make a lot of noise! We recently renovated our bathroom and toilet, as well as the paintwork.
