This beautiful Government farm property from 1855 with a beuatiful guest room on the 1st floor lies on open channel. It is a unique place with much character. It lies quietly and still on the edge of the village Hitzum. Here you can really enjoy and relax! The space The room lies in a beautiful Government farm property in the beautiful place Hitzum. From the garden you can enjoy the beautiful view over the meadows. For the guests we have available a bedroom with a 2 persons bed. In case desired it is possible to place a 1 persons bed in the room. (For instance for a 3rd person or when the parent(s) want to stay with a child at our place.) Guest access Guests have entrance to the barn (possibility to park a motor/scooter/bike). In the barn are the stairs to the beautiful kitchen and bathroom for the guests. For the guests there is a bedroom with a 2 persons bed available. It is allowed to use the garden. In the summer you are allowed to use the cosy outside stove. We have wood available. Do you want to come with your boat? We have a landing-stage for small boats, with a connection to open channel. During your stay As permanent occupants we are willing to explaine the objects of interest in the neighbourhood to our guests or to make them wise. When appreciated and possible for us we sometimes like to eat together (against shared costs). Other things to note On our farm we have lovely cats and a very friendly dog, a few chickens an ducks and pony’s and horses. For beginners it is possible to take a horse lesson or to make an outside ride through the village. For more experienced riders it is possible to make a ride through the neighbourhood.
