Normal Hill Cottage
My home is close to Lewis-Clark State College, SJRMC, Downtown Lewiston, the levee bike and walking trails. You’ll love my cottage because of it's location on Normal Hill, an older section of the city. Guests can enjoy breakfast on the patio from May to September. My home is good for a couple, friends or siblings traveling together, but guests must be able to navigate stairs because the bedroom is in the basement, perfect for a quiet night's sleep. The space The bedroom is in the basement, cool in the hot summer, decorated with my mother's quilts. Guests can read and relax in an easy chair with a small footstool. The bedroom door can be locked. The basement bathroom has heated tile floors and laundry facilities guests can use. I've converted my sewing room in the basement into a small kitchenette; computer work space, and dining space. I consider my basement space to be used only by my guests when hosting because my living space is on the main floor. Guest access I prefer that my guests use the kitchenette in the basement to store food, make coffee or heat good in the microwave. However, cooking arrangements can be made if a guest needs to use my main floor kitchen space during a short-term stay. I believe guests will enjoy the outdoor patio, which is filled with annual flowers during the summer months. During your stay I am retired, but participate in lots of volunteer activities. I love mornings and awake early for prayer time with a cup of coffee, followed by a walk on the levee or around the neighborhood. I enjoy visiting with people and appreciate getting to know my guests and hear about their life stories. Other things to note I love to bake and will provide muffins and/or homemade granola for a quick breakfast.
