Once a child's playhouse, the large cottage sits on 5 acres and overlooks the Glenora cliffs, the cottage is ready to welcome you for years to come. Historic but updated with the creature comforts you desire. The entire estate is a restoration in progress. We will always notify guests if any work on the main house, well in advance. This isn't like any cottage you have seen before. Roomy, lake breezes, a deck with amazing views of Seneca Lake, MacKenzie-Childs mixed in for a fun yet modern and romantic atmosphere, amazing bed linens and towels, this is an every changing design space for the main house restoration, so it may not be the same when you return. Get ready to want to come back to see what is new! Please note that the driveway to the cottage is steep, and cars with 4 wheel drive and AWD will most likely need to use it when leaving, if your car doesn't have 4WD or AWD we suggest parking in front of the garage, and walk to the cottage. As needed we are here to help but we want you to feel at home. The cottage at Glenora is located in the amazing hamlet of Glenora, a one of a kind enclave on Seneca Lake, you will not want to leave. We are surrounded by wineries and a quick easy drive to Watkins Glen International, when we say we are in the heart of NYS wine country we mean it. We are not near public transportation and UBER and LYFT can be spotty.
