Beautiful two bedroom, two bathroom country cottage located in the rural hamlet of Charcott, close to Chiddingstone and Weald neighbouring Kent villages. Newly redecorated throughout with relaxing, tasteful decor this lovely cottage is a perfect spot to retreat to with the luxurious attraction of a hot tub to enjoy. Can sleep up to 4 guests, well behaved dogs are permitted. Owned privately by Fran & Rich who own the lovely country pub, The Greyhound just a few steps away from the property. The space The cottage is well laid out, beautifully decorated and furnished with cosy log burner in the lounge and stunning bi-folding doors linking the kitchen with the pretty garden and patio area. Ideal for 4 adult guests in the two bedrooms, but there is also a sofa bed in the lounge so possible to take an additional guest (by arrangement). A maximum of 2 well behaved dogs are permitted downstairs only in the cottage. Stunning views out across the farmland behind the cottage and lovely country walks in the area, as well as great local attractions such as Hever Castle, Chiddingstone Castle, Penshurst Place and Bore Place, all within a 15 minute radius of the property. It's fully kitted out for a comfortable self catering stay or alternatively if you enjoy eating out you'll also have a wealth of great local pubs and restaurants to choose from. If you enjoy shopping you are only a 20 minute drive from Bluewater or Royal Tunbridge Wells Spa town. Closest mainline station is Hildenborough, where you can be into London within 50 minutes if you want to explore tourist attractions or down on the South coast of Kent or Sussex within an hour. Guest access The entire cottage is available and accessible for guests. There is one parking space available. The property is not suitable for wheelchair access as both bathrooms are located upstairs within the property. Other things to note Luxurious feature added in June 2021 of a hot tub at the property. Please note this feature is not suitable for use by children under 12 and full insurance disclaimers are required prior to use and can only be used by guests between 8am - 10pm as a quiet rural hamlet location so neighbourly consideration is shown at all times.
