Our sunny and cheery Casita is located in the flatlands of North Berkeley. The Casita is located on a friendly, tree lined street and close to the hustle and bustle of downtown city life. We are 4 blocks from North Berkeley BART station and 5 blocks from 4th Street. Whether you're a traveler seeking a peaceful haven, a scholar exploring academia, a home away from home for loving grandparents, or simply in need of a break, our Casita offers the perfect blend of comfort and convenience. The space Our casita is a beautifully designed, self-contained unit that boasts a warm and cozy atmosphere. The space is thoughtfully decorated, offering a harmonious blend of modern amenities and a touch of Berkeley's bohemian charm. With an open layout, this casita is perfect for couples or solo travelers. This is a new, street level apartment (built in 2019) and newly furnished. The casita is attached to our main home with a separate entrance and excellent insulation for privacy. The kitchen has all new appliances (refrigerator, dishwasher, microwave, stove, hot water kettle), staples (dishware, cleaning supplies, oils, etc), and an assortment of coffee and teas. A stackable washer and dryer is behind the closet door in the kitchen. Very comfy leather couch for hanging out or watching movies, and a comfy bed for a restful night! Other things to note We have a dog and a cat that are located in the main house away from the Casita. Also, we have toddler who sleeps through the night but may on occasion wake up and need to be supported. Her room is above the Casita.
