Carefully renovated house from the late 1800s with a completely unique location! Just a few minutes' walk to the beach and everything Kivik has to offer - but private and secluded on a hill in the middle of an apple orchard. Large garden with lots of fruit trees, sea views and sun all day. Fully modernized kitchen with dishwasher, induction hob and hot air oven. Newly installed stove that provides nice heat.*Note that the fireplace in the living room must not be lit due to the replacement of bricks. Not renovated but functional bathroom. Welcome🌺 The space Very beautiful and undisturbed location but absolute proximity to everything Kivik has to offer. Special note to guests: I live in Stockholm and therefore have limited opportunity to be on-site in Kivik. But I am always reachable by phone and have resources in place in Kivik, craftsmen, electricians and the like, if needed. However, I have no opportunity to take care of cleaning and laundry after each guest, hence guests need to take care of cleaning themselves and bring their own towels/bed linens. A cleaning lady comes regularly and does a deep cleaning, but it is important that all guests take care of and look after the house and the cleaning so it is nice and welcoming for the next guest. Since I am not on site myself, the prerequisite for renting is that guests take their own responsibility and contact me if something happens, needs to be resolved or if cleaning is not satisfactory after the previous guest. I have a cleaning lady who comes regularly and does a deep cleaning. If you want to buy her cleaning service, this is done through me well in advance of arrival. The house is old and heated with an air heat pump, stove and extra electric elements. Guest access The entire house and garden are part of the spaces the guest has access to Other things to note The house is newly renovated but some details are not completely finished and are being done gradually, such as replacing one of the front doors, which is clogged. The bathroom is not yet renovated and has older standards. To compensate for this, I am lower in price, despite the fantastic location! The fireplace can be used, according to instructions, but not the open stove. Wood is provided by tenants, as well as charcoal and lighter fluid when using the barbecue. Upstairs with sleeping areas has a completely open floor plan. Please note that guests bring their own bed linens and towels and are responsible for cleaning. Please be careful with the cleaning so it's nice for the next guest. The house is old but is excellent to live in all year round, as long as you are okay with a somewhat simpler standard.
