Enjoy complete privacy in our sunny 2800 sq. ft. home, surrounded by nature! 2 hours from NYC, 5 minutes to the town of Pine Plains, and 25-30 minutes to Hudson, Rhinebeck, Millbrook, and Red Hook. A perfect place to gather with friends and family, and enjoy all the Hudson Valley has to offer. This is our vacation home and we hope that you love it as much as we do! The space Our home is in a quiet, secluded location and includes 4 bedrooms with king & queen sized beds, 2 full bathrooms, 2 living rooms with an AppleTV, open kitchen layout with breakfast nook, and dining room that seats 10. Take a dip in our private in-ground pool in the summer, enjoy the views of the forest during fall foliage, or curl up with a book in front of the fireplace in the winter. The kitchen is fully equipped with pots, pans, coffee beans & coffee maker, and basic cooking supplies like oil, salt and pepper. We also have 2 gas grills for cookouts, and an outdoor table on the upstairs deck and by the pool. The pool usually open from mid-May - mid-Sept, and is surrounded by a wooden deck, and gets a mix of sun and shade throughout the day. ** Please note that our pool is not heated; if you are looking for a heated pool this may not be the right booking for you ** Guest access The entire property is yours for the booking, including the unheated, private in-ground pool (open mid-May - mid-Sept, pending weather). Other things to note All bedrooms are upstairs, so all guests should be able to climb stairs comfortably. The property has a swimming pool located thereon. Guests will use the swimming pool at the their own risk. The owners will not be held responsible for the injuries sustained by the guests or other occupants when using the swimming pool, and the guest will indemnify the owner for any actions resulting from injuries to guest and/or occupants. Please note: The swimming pool is not heated. Please note: Our home is located in a rural area and we are lucky to have a natural population of wildlife. Guests may encounter our local wildlife like possums, frogs/toads, deer, snakes, skunks, turkeys, foxes, insects, etc. We have an exterminator come quarterly to bait and seal our home. If sightings of any large or small animal may be issue for anyone in your party, this may not be the right booking for you. No refunds will be given for this. Please note: This is our second home and we use some of the closets and drawers for our belongings. * No events or parties allowed. Any parties or noise complaints will result in forfeiture of your entire security deposit.
