Portage Lake Acres Cabin by the Course--Convenient Location next to golf course The space This cabin is perfect for a weekend to come and cook for your MTU student, snowmobile, ski, bike, hike or a longer getaway to explore all that the Copper Country and Keweenaw Peninsula have to offer. It has all that you need with 2 bedrooms, a bathroom, living area and fully stocked kitchen [refrigerator/freezer, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, oven/stove and sink + dishes and basic cooking supplies]. Roku smart TV in the living room with WiFi. (There are channels on the Spectrum app). The location is right next door to the Portage Lake golf course and 2 miles south of Michigan Tech. It has the convenience of being close to stores, restaurants and events at the university. It is located right across the highway from the recreational trail which can be used for walking and biking in the summer and snowmobiling in the winter. **Also Note: There is a natural gas space heater in the living room that is the main source of heat and may be warm to the touch for little ones. Parking: There is parking right in front of the cabin. Also, extra parking is available on the property for extra vehicles or a trailer. Please do not block access to the other cabins.
