The space Thoughtfully designed with comfort and connection in mind, Joy on the James offers spacious gathering areas, cozy bedrooms, and stunning views from nearly every window. The fully equipped kitchen is stocked for everything from quick breakfasts to family dinners, while multiple living spaces provide room to relax, play games, or unwind after a day of exploring. Whether you're enjoying your morning coffee on the deck, curling up by the fireplace, or spending the evening together after a day on the water, every space was created to help you slow down and make lasting memories. Guests will also enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi, smart TV, a dedicated workspace, board games, pet-friendly amenities, a full size washer and dryer, dining table that seats up to 12, and outdoor spaces perfect for taking in the beauty of Virginia's Blue Ridge Mountains. With five bedrooms and four bathrooms, there's plenty of space for families, friends, and multi-generational groups to gather comfortably while still enjoying privacy when it's time to recharge. Other things to note Please note that Joy on the James is located in a peaceful mountain setting where wildlife may be seen. The home is accessed via a paved, winding mountain road, and winter weather may occasionally impact travel. We are proud to be dog-friendly but ask that pets not be left unattended unless kenneled. To help preserve the quiet atmosphere our guests love, parties, events, and smoking are not permitted.
