License Number: 2022-STR-AO-081 The space The cottage has everything you could possibly need - stocked efficiency kitchen (hot plate, microwave and toaster oven), grill, hammock, outdoor shower, Solo Stove. There is a comfy king-size bed and a twin day bed that also serves as sitting area. The rustic space is tastefully decorated with antiques, books and games. Hours can be spent sitting on the wrap-around deck staring off into the woods and watching the creek for eagles and other wildlife, listening to the gentle sound of running water. A flight of steps takes you down to the creek where you can swim and explore all the wonders of the Stony Clove. Though the cottage is completely private, the semi-fenced in yard is shared with the neighboring main house. My family is often there on the weekends. We won't bother you unless you have a need or a question, but we may you may see us in the yard. One well-behaved dog is permitted for a $30 fee. Any damage will be deducted from the security deposit. Please note that we are on a busy road and the fence does not go all the way to the ground in spots, so please keep a close eye on your pup. Please be advised that the cottage is in the woods. As a result, the WiFi is occasionally impacted by storms/outages in the area. The cottage has a backup battery solar generator for essentials (heat, hot water, fridge, WiFi). Being in the woods also means there are woodland creatures. You may see the occasional spider or snake so do not be alarmed!
