The Hideaway is a self catering log cabin in South West Scotland. Ideal for a short romantic break or a longer trip to discover more of what Scotland has to offer. It is situated near to the Galloway Forest, the U.K'S first dark sky park. The space Unfortunately we do not accepts pets . There is no wifi but you can pick up 4g in the cabin . The hideaway is a cosy studio cabin . It is fully fitted with a kitchen , gas cooker, microwave, oven , kettle , toaster , and fridge /freezer .You will have all the cooking utensils , pots and pans for cooking and if needed, baking as well. All linen and towels are provided for the duration of your stay. Outside , you will find a stunning swing , picnic table , chimnea and barbecue . Other things to note We are next to a working farm and our property is a small holding . There is a barn a short distance from the cabin. The road down to the cabin is a farm track and parking is next to the cabin . It is not suitable for anyone with mobility problems as the path down to the door of cabin has got gravel and has an incline .
