Escape to our peaceful 7-acre farm in Rogue River, Oregon. Nestled among old growth trees, a orchard and free-ranging farm animals, our cedar-lined yurt offers a cozy, private retreat with modern comforts and full access to the pool and hot tub. The space The Space You’ll have the entire yurt to yourselves (max 2 guests) Inside you’ll find: Queen bed with fresh linens Kitchen island with coffee, tea, French press, plates, cups & silverware Toaster oven, mini fridge & Berkey water station Electric fireplace, air conditioning & fan Cozy sitting chair and storage bench with towels and extra blankets A Nature’s Head composting toilet is located in the pool house bathroom (simple to use — full instructions provided). The outdoor shower is just right outside the yurts front door attached the the pool house and is stocked with non-toxic shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. A sink for washing dishes is also available in the pool house. Guest Access Your stay includes use of the yurt, deck, pool house, pool, and hot tub (available 7am–11 pm). The main house is our private residence, so we ask guests to stick to the designated guest areas. You’ll likely see us around doing farm chores — feel free to say hello! The Farm Share the land with our 4 friendly (and sometimes vocal) dogs, free-ranging sheep, ducks, and turkeys. Guests are welcome to gently interact with the animals. Some of the trees on the property are truly ancient — including a 300-year-old black oak, 256-year-old white oak, and a 147-year-old madrone right by the yurt. Other things to note House Rules Important Notes Before Booking This is a private working homestead where we live full-time. We share the land with free-ranging ducks, turkeys, sheep, and our 4 dogs. The yurt is for adults only (18+). No children or infants. No guest pets allowed (including emotional support animals). Our animals and property are not set up for visitor pets. Quiet hours are strictly enforced: 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM. Voices, music, etc., must not disturb us or the animals. Safety & Property Rules Pool and Hot Tub: Use at your own risk. No lifeguard on duty. Shower/rinse before entering (sunscreen, lotion, etc. damages chemicals). No glass, or food in the hot tub. Cover the hot tub when not in use. Turn off jets/lights by 11 PM. Do not leave items (towels, etc.) in the pool/hot tub area. Animals & Farm Life: Enjoy watching our free-ranging ducks and turkeys, and sheep! Do not chase, or attempt to catch any animals. Do not enter animal pens or fenced areas. Keep yurt door closed to prevent curious poultry or dogs from entering. Our dogs are friendly but working dogs—please do not feed them. Fire Safety: Follow all local fire restrictions. No fireworks, bonfires, or open flames. Wildlife & Hazards: Oregon rural property may have ticks, poison oak, snakes, or other wildlife. Check yourself and belongings. Secure all food/trash to avoid attracting animals. Access & Privacy: The yurt is near our living area/pool. Respect our space—stay on designated paths and do not wander into private zones. We may be around caring for animals or the land; please feel free to say hello and let us know if you need anything! Trash & Cleanliness: Please use provided bins. Leave the yurt cleaner than you found it. NO SMOKING inside the yurt. Damage: You are responsible for any damage beyond normal wear. Report issues immediately. Check-in: 3pm Check -in: 11am Late check-out may incur fees. Maximum Occupancy: 2 adults max What We Expect Respect the peaceful, rural nature of the property. This is not a party spot. Be considerate of noise, lights, and shared spaces. Follow leave-no-trace principles—protect the land for future guests and our animals. Communicate promptly if you have questions or issues.
