Sit in the sunshine with a drink in the south-facing courtyard gardens at the front or rear; wash sand off in the warm outside shower after a day on the beach. Wander to the nearby high street to visit the deli, shops, and pubs, from just over 150 metres from the front door. The quay is nearby too, the perfect spot for crabbing, and you can book a boat trip from there to Blakeney Point to see the seal colony, go out sailing or head for a walk along the coast path. The area is a haven for birdwatchers in the nearby salt marches, and the stunning sandy beaches of Holkham (10.5 miles) and Wells-next-the-Sea (9 miles) are within reach.
