The converted barn has recently been renovated. it feels luxurious, yet homely and charming. As a British family we have embraced the stunning French character and added a touch of English elegance. This rural retreat is an idyllic place to relax, with breath-taking views of the valley, a spacious open-plan living area and ample outdoor space, including a terrace with barbecue. We have two absolute highlights. The first has to be the 26 massage jet hot tub, the perfect accompaniment to your retreat where you can unwind in a blissful, bubbly, oasis. The second....our luxury dining pod. This is situated next to the river bresle and seats up to 8. To compliment this we offer the most stunning dining packages, full details can be found in the website and to be booked. Massage packages can also be booked, these perfectly compliment our health and well being facilities. The jacuzzi located on the terrace and the Wim Hof inspired plunge pool dug into the bresle river. Please check the website to see full details and to confirm bookings. With 3 double bedrooms the property sleeps up to 10 guests. 6 adults, 4 children, or 8 adults. There are three double beds and a sofa bed in each of the end bedrooms. ​ Coeur De La Vallée really is the ideal place for your holiday, whether it be a family adventure, or a couples escape we have everything to offer. The ample outdoor space and panoramic views make this a really unique and special place to spend your holiday. With leisurely alfresco dinners in the evening you can sit back on the terrace and admire the stunning sunset over the river bresle that runs directly through the property. During the winter, you can snuggle up and warm your toes by the wood burner, while you watch a film, enjoy a Netflix series or play a board game. The property is well equipped with modern amenities throughout, including an all important Nespresso Citiz coffee machine. Upon arrival, our guests will be greeted by myself Ben and my partner Georgie, we will show you around the property. We will also show you our in depth information guide. The nature lovers will be in their element, with a bounty of wildlife to be seen, including buzzards, red squirrels, deer, swans and hares. Our guests are more than welcome to meet our sheep (Bonnie and Mollie) and pygmy goats! (Noah and Moses) Just a minutes' walk from the property is a collection of lakes which you can stroll around and fish if you contact us at least one week in advance. If you fancy immersing yourself into the typical French way of life, then we have a beautiful scenic route whereby you can walk to the local boulangerie to buy your fresh baguette or croissants in the morning. ​ This region is rich in history and culture, with an abundance of chateaus and cathedrals to explore, architecture to admire and typical French markets to wander round. We have some great beaches nearby, two award winning villages and history rich world war sights. Some of our favourite places include: Rouen, Dieppe, Étretat, Lyons-la-Forêt, Eu, Le Tréport, Veules-les-Roses, Amiens, Baie de Somme, Gerberoy and Forges-les-Eaux. With regards to our location we are just 1 hour 30 minutes from Calais, 50 minutes from Dieppe with easy access from the UK. These include: >Washing up liquid, cleaning products >Dishwasher tablets >Dish cloth >Bin Liners >Two toilet rolls per bathroom >Condiments >Hand soap in bathrooms >First basket of wood with fire lighters We have a BBQ located on the terrace area. There is a fee of €20 if you wish to use it for the entirety of your stay. We provide coals for your first use, fire lighters and BBQ utensils. At the end of every stay our team will clean the BBQ in preparation for our next guests. We would like to kindly remind guests that we are a self-catering gîte and any extra essentials must be brought with or purchased by our guests. We have supermarkets within a ten minute drive. We provide your first basket of wood, kindling and fire lighters for the wood-burner free of charge, thereafter it is €8 per basket (including kindling and fire lighters). As stated in the ‘House Rules’, we have a top of the range hot tub which has 26 massage jets, mood lighting and bluetooth speakers. We also have installed your very own private Nordic outdoor sauna. Both are available to enjoy throughout your stay, whereby there is a fee of €120. This must be paid in cash or by debit card upon arrival Luxury dining pod new for spring 2022. Our polycarbonate fully furnished dining pod is available for you and your guests to use throughout the entirety of your stay. Why not add one of our exquisite dinning packages. The pod has the most amazing ambience, especially in the evenings when it is lit up. It has electricity and is also heated. Check in is between 5pm- 7pm. Check out is 11am. If you would like to extend your time in the house please check with us and we will try our best to accommodate early check in/late check out, we charge a small fee of €10 per hour.
