The Rice Lake Retreat

Welcome to Rice Lake Retreat, where the days are slower, the sunsets are brighter and unforgettable moments are made by the lake! It is a cozy two-bedroom cottage designed for relaxing, reconnecting, and enjoying everything lake life has to offer. There are two kayaks, a canoe, and a pedal boat for you to enjoy. Whether you are here to explore the lake, relax on the dock, family fun or to have a space to make memories we hope you'll feel right at home during your stay. The space Comfortable Sleeping Spaces: ​ The cottage has two bedrooms. One bedroom features a comfortable queen-size bed, while the second bedroom is perfect for families and children, with a bunk bed with a double bed on the bottom and a single bed on top. There is also a pull-out sectional sofa in the living room, providing additional sleeping space. ​  A Kitchen Ready for Your Stay: ​ The full kitchen is equipped with everything you need to enjoy meals at the cottage, including a fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, water cooler, pots and pans, dishes, bowls, plates, cups, glasses, wine glasses, cutlery, salt, pepper, cooking oil, and a wine opener etc. There’s a counter-height dining table that seats four, along with additional counter seating for two. Bathroom & Extras: ​ The cottage has one bathroom with a shower/bathtub, toilet, and sink. Both shower towels and beach towels are provided for your convenience. Outdoor Activities: The L-shaped dock is where the fun really begins! Guests have access to two kayaks, a canoe, and a pedal boat, along with paddles and life jackets. Whether you want to explore the lake, enjoy a peaceful paddle, or simply sit on the dock and take in the view, there are plenty of ways to enjoy the water. Outdoor Spaces: There are two wonderful outdoor areas to enjoy. At the roadside of the cottage, you’ll find a fenced-in yard with a pathway, shade, and a small seating area, a lovely spot to sit back and enjoy some quiet time. ​ Waterside, the cottage features a deck with both covered and uncovered areas, complete with a BBQ and outdoor seating. There is also additional seating on the grass and a fire pit right near the lake, perfect for relaxing around the fire and roasting marshmallows as the evening settles in. Relax and Unwind: The living room features a comfortable pull-out sectional couch and a beautiful large window overlooking the lake. It’s the perfect spot to curl up with a coffee, enjoy the view, or relax together after a day outside. ​ For entertainment, there is a TV with a Fire Stick and Wi-Fi, a DVD player with movies, and a selection of board games for those evenings when you want to unplug and spend time together. ​ Your Lake Getaway: At Rice Lake Retreat, we want you to spend less time worrying about what to bring and more time enjoying your vacation. From morning coffee overlooking the water, to afternoons on the lake, BBQs by the water, games with the family, and evenings gathered around the fire pit, Rice Lake Retreat is a place to slow down, breathe in the lake air, and make memories that last a lifetime.
