A unique forest cabin in a rural setting

The newly renovated Metsänhoitaja cottage is located in a peaceful rural landscape along the Saaristo trails. An atmospheric cottage built in an old smoke sauna combines history with modern comforts. Here, you can slow down, relax in the midst of nature, and have a digital-free vacation without TV or Wi-Fi. The cottage has a kitchen, a bedroom, a loft bed, a bathroom, a campfire area, and a private wood-fired barrel sauna. The indoor toilet is an ecological Green Toilet dry toilet. Sheets are included in the price. The space The forester's cabin has a well-equipped kitchen with a stove, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and microwave. There is a side-pull wooden sofa in the kitchen, which can be converted into a 170-cm-long bed. The room has a blackout curtain. The bedroom has a king-size double bed and a crib, as well as toys. The room has blackout curtains and a dresser for clothes. A travel cot is available for babies. The sleeping loft has a 120-cm mattress that sleeps two people. There's no natural light in the loft, so if you're sensitive to light, this place is for you. There is a fan and a reading lamp on the loft. The cabin can accommodate a maximum of four adults and two children (+ a toddler). The house has an air-source heat pump and a fan for cooling. The bathroom has a small shower stall and an ecological composting Green toilet. Clean hand and bath towels for guests can be found in the bathroom. There's a campfire area in the yard of the cottage where you can grill sausages. The path leads to the tree house and to the nature trail to the caves in the forest. The barrel sauna is for the private use of guests, and we provide firewood for the wood-burning stove. You can fill the heater's water tank and get water for washing in a bucket from the sauna's outdoor faucet. There are good services in the center of Rymättylä (1 km away): a store, a restaurant, a bakery, a post office, a pharmacy, a flea market, a playground and a beach. We also rent bikes; ask for more information by sending a message! Other things to note Kepuisten's space is a functioning farm, so you can see the tractor at work in the fields!
