The 35 m² 1.5-room studio is located in a lovingly converted barn on a former farm, with a fantastic view of Lake Constance. The cozy, private and covered balcony with a lake view is a special retreat at any time of day – whether for breakfast in the morning sun, for a cup of coffee in between, or for a relaxing end to the day. Even when it rains, you can enjoy the panorama of the lake and the tranquility of the surrounding nature to the fullest here. The swimming area is just a few steps away. Enchanting and idyllic - in close proximity to Konstanz, the fishing village of Ermatingen and the picturesque town of Gottlieben, off the beaten track. Everything is a bit slower here. You can let your thoughts wander in the garden, enjoy a picnic by the lake, hop on your bike to the nearest weekly market, or simply stroll across the fields and enjoy the beautiful view from the lake ridge over the Untersee with the island of Reichenau. In the summer, the entire Lake Constance turns into a huge outdoor swimming pool – it is possible to go swimming almost everywhere. A special highlight is the idyllic country garden with fruit trees, roses and all kinds of flowering perennials. Depending on the season, new blooms are always appearing here, accompanied by butterflies, bumblebees, dragonflies and a variety of different bird species. The 4 hens and the 2 black-nosed sheep also look forward to company. The apartment has a cozy living and sleeping area with a double bed and a well-equipped kitchenette. There is a workstation for home office and a bathroom with shower and toilet. In the entrance area, there is also a separate dressing area with a wardrobe. The kitchen is equipped with - An induction hot plate and electric kettle - Fridge - French press coffee maker, teapot - Cutlery, cutting board, salad strainer and salad bowl, pot and pan - Plates, glasses, wine glasses, glass carafe - Coffee, tea, salt, pepper Yoga and yantra mats are available. SUPs can be rented. Free charging and parking for e-bikes/bicycles are available. Train station is a 5-minute walk away. Location & Surroundings A place ideal for those who want to combine nature and city and also want to explore the surroundings. The property is located in the historic center of the village of Triboltingen, in a charming and quiet location in the last house before the lake shore, with a lot of original character. Just a few steps away is an idyllic bathing area with a jetty and boat dock – in the middle of the Espenriet nature reserve. Whether swimming in summer, taking a walk in autumn, or observing the diverse birdlife in winter – this special place is enchanting in every season and is a real highlight. A fire pit/barbecue area (with wood) is also provided there. The immediate surroundings are characterized by tranquility, open space and a relaxed, rural atmosphere. At the same time, you can easily reach the nearby city of Konstanz in 10 minutes by bike. Shops and a very good train connection are in the immediate vicinity. The train stop is only a few minutes' walk away. The Lake Constance cycle path starts not far from the house. Around the accommodation, there are very nice hiking trails along the lake or over the hills with fantastic views of the surrounding area. For more adventurous hikers, the Alps in Appenzell can be reached within 1.5 hours by car and train. We are always happy to provide tips, including for places away from the over-tourism. We are not a luxury hotel, but a hostel where well-being and nature are the focus. Less is more. Everything is real. Nature is luxury. - Here you can forget about makeup and just walk barefoot. Other things to note GOOD TO KNOW We are not a luxury hotel, but a hostel where well-being and nature are the focus. With us, it's often the little things that make the difference. Depending on the season, our guests enjoy fresh eggs from our hens, herbs from the garden or a small bouquet of flowers. To do this, we share our personally selected favorite places around Lake Constance – far from the well-known tourist trails. Small gestures that make your stay even more special.
