Designed as a technology-enabled family home, it combines modern smart-home living with the warmth and comfort of a traditional home. The villa is ideal for families, friends, business travelers, and extended stays. The space 📍 Located in a peaceful neighborhood, the villa is approximately 4 km from the Mattuthavani Integrated Bus Terminus ⭐ Just 5 minutes from the New Madurai Ring Road, making it especially convenient for guests driving from Bangalore and other nearby cities. Food delivery, taxis, and autos are easily available. ✨ Smart Home Features This home is equipped with Aqara smart home automation, an Aqara A100 Smart Lock, a smart video doorbell, automated outdoor lighting, an automatic water pump system, and multiple smart control hubs. Our goal is to provide guests with the experience of staying in a modern smart home while keeping everything simple and comfortable to use. 📶 Internet & Entertainment Enjoy high-speed Wi-Fi 6 with dedicated Wi-Fi access points on both the ground and first floor. Wi-Fi coverage on the terrace may occasionally be limited while we continue improving the network. The living room features a wall-mounted 4K HDR Smart TV with YouTube Premium, Prime Video, and Disney+ Hotstar for your entertainment. 🍳 Kitchen & Drinking Water The kitchen is fully equipped for everyday cooking. Safe drinking water is available directly from the kitchen sink through an under-sink RO water purifier. 🛏️ Comfort Relax in the bathtub after a long day of exploring Madurai. The home uses energy-efficient BLDC ceiling fans operated using remote controls. If you notice any wall-mounted fan regulators, please leave them at level 5 and use the remote to adjust the fan speed. You may also notice fewer electrical outlets than in many traditional Indian homes. This is intentional and part of our design philosophy to reduce visual clutter and create a calm, relaxing environment. 🚗 Parking One covered parking space is available inside the property. A second vehicle may be parked along the left side of the house. 🔐 Guest Access The main entrance is secured using an Aqara A100 Smart Lock. A unique PIN will be shared with you through Airbnb before your arrival. To unlock the door, touch the keypad to wake it up, enter 00 + your 4-digit Airbnb PIN, press the ✔️ button, and pull the handle downward. For example, if your PIN is 1234, enter 001234. When leaving the house, close the door completely and lift the handle upward to engage all locking points for maximum security. ℹ️ Other Things to Note 🌿 Mosquito mesh screens are installed on most windows and openings, allowing you to enjoy fresh air while helping keep insects outside. We still recommend keeping exterior doors closed, especially during the evening. 🚿 The home uses a pressurized water system. Please use the bathroom jet sprays gently to avoid excessive splashing. 💡 The outdoor lights and water pump operate automatically, so no action is required from guests. ⏰ We are happy to accommodate early check-in or late check-out whenever possible, subject to availability. Please contact us in advance if you have a special request. 🔒 For your safety, exterior security cameras monitor only the entrances and outdoor areas of the property. There are no cameras inside guest living areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, or any other private indoor spaces. Guest access Smart Lock Access The main entrance is secured using an Aqara A100 Smart Lock. Your unique access PIN will be provided through Airbnb before check-in. Unlocking the Door Touch the keypad to wake it up. Enter: 00 + your Airbnb 4-digit PIN Once the lock accepts the PIN, pull the handle downward. Open the door. Example: If Airbnb provides PIN 1234, enter 001234. Locking the Door When leaving the house, please ensure the door is properly secured. Close the door completely. Lift the handle upward to engage all locking points. Verify that the door is locked before leaving. Important: Simply closing the door does not fully secure the lock. You must lift the handle upward to engage the locking mechanism. Night Latch The Aqara A100 includes a night latch for additional security while you are inside the house. Use it when you want extra privacy and security. The night latch prevents unlocking from outside. Please disengage it before checkout. Door Open Warning The smart lock monitors the door status for security purposes. If the front door is left open for approximately 5 seconds, the lock will sound a short warning alarm. This is normal behavior and is intended to remind guests that the door has not been fully closed. Simply close the door to stop the alert. Access Code Validity Your PIN is valid only for the duration of your stay. The code will automatically expire after checkout. If you experience any issues accessing the property, please contact the host. Locking the Door The Aqara A100 will keep the door secured when it is closed, and the door cannot be opened from outside without a valid PIN, fingerprint, key, or authorized access method. For additional security, we recommend: Close the door completely. Lift the handle upward to engage all locking points and deadbolts. Verify the door is fully secured before leaving. Note: Even if you do not lift the handle, the door remains secured and cannot be opened from outside without authorization. Lifting the handle simply engages the additional locking bolts for enhanced security. Door Open Warning The lock continuously monitors the door status. If the door is left open for approximately 5 seconds, a warning alarm will sound. This is normal behavior and is designed to remind guests that the door has not been fully closed. Once the door is closed, the warning will stop automatically. Other things to note Fresh Air & Mosquito Protection To help keep the home naturally ventilated, mosquito mesh screens have been installed on most windows and openings throughout the house. Guests are welcome to: Open windows and allow fresh air into the home. Enjoy natural ventilation during cooler parts of the day. Keep insects and mosquitoes outside while maintaining airflow. We encourage guests to make use of the screens whenever possible to enjoy a more comfortable and airy living environment. Please note: While most areas are protected with mosquito screens, we still recommend keeping doors closed, especially during evenings, to prevent insects from entering the house. Water Pressure The home uses a pressurized water system configured at approximately 3 bar pressure. Please use bathroom jet sprays carefully and keep the pressure reduced while operating them to avoid splashing or discomfort. Automated Water Pump The water pump operates automatically. Guests do not need to: Turn the motor on Turn the motor off Monitor water tank levels The system manages itself automatically. Automated Outdoor Lighting The entrance and gate lights are automated and turn on and off automatically based on sunrise and sunset. No action is required from guests. Security & Privacy For security purposes, smart home and networking equipment is provided by Aqara and UniFi systems. Any exterior security cameras are used only for property security and monitoring of entry points. There are no cameras in private indoor guest areas.
