Description

Dora's Cottage is a beautiful cottage with 2 foot thick stone walls. It is situated half way between Hartington and Hulme End in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Relax and enjoy the stunning views across Beresford Dale and the River Dove towards a line of dramatic limestone hills. The master bedroom has a Super-King bed & the second bedroom has two double beds, all have premium quality bed linen. There is a large garden. Kids can run wild and talk to the organic cows. NO PETS please The space 180 degree uninterrupted view of Beresford Dale's range of limestone hills. A large garden with two outdoor dining areas and a lovely paddock with the shade of trees for those occasional balmy days. Dora’s Cottage is part of an old Derbyshire Long Barn. Previously, as a small holding, part of the building was the dwelling while the rest of the building house the animals and straw. As with many old dwellings, Dora's Cottage has a couple of low doorways and the part of the kitchen ceiling is about 6'2". Our son-in-law who's 6'4" manages without an issue. There are bits of string on the door frame to remind folks to duck. Guest access You'll have sole use of Dora's Cottage. Privacy is guaranteed. The large garden has private areas for each cottage with plenty of spaces to dine outdoors. We are unable to accept pets of any kind. Other things to note NO PETS We hope you enjoy your stay and we welcome any comments and suggestions.
