Obora on the Narew River

This clay house began its life as an ordinary country barn. Where the living room is today, cows once lived, and in the downstairs bedroom, there were pigs :) In 2026, we completed a major renovation. We have preserved the character of the house and what makes it special: natural clay plaster, wooden beams, old brick, and the unique tranquility of a place that has always lived close to nature. We added the comfort of a modern home, and that's how it became a new, unique location on the map of natural construction in Poland. The space The house has about 160 m² spread over two floors, with sleeping accommodations for 6 people in beds in the bedroom and Additionally, there are 3 places on fold-out couches in the common areas of the house. Downstairs, you'll find a spacious living room with a clay fireplace and a dining table for six, a fully equipped large kitchen with a brick floor and wooden ceiling beams, a bedroom with a double bed (which can be separated into two singles), and a bathroom. Upstairs, there are four beds in a bright room with a panoramic window overlooking old trees – a space where children feel at ease. Next to it is a huge bathroom with a freestanding bathtub and a view of the river, as well as a small connecting lounge with a sofa bed for two. Garden and surroundings The plot is 1,200 m² and is 50 meters from the Narew River. It is surrounded by old pine, birch, and linden trees. From the windows, you can see the greenery, and in the evening, you can watch the stars and listen to the sounds of nature. On the property, you will find: a fire pit and a grill, hammock, sun loungers, a play area for children, a shaded garden that resembles a small park. This place is made for relaxing, bike and kayak trips, walks, sledding in winter, reading books, and doing nothing. Neighborhood The house is located in the village of Zambski Kościelne, 80 km from Warsaw Central, near Pułtusk, right on the Narew River (50 m from the house). There are bicycle routes and forest walking paths nearby, and Pułtusk itself offers a beautiful old town with one of the longest market streets in Poland and a castle by the river. Who is this place for? The house is suitable for a family with children (the large room upstairs is every child's dream), groups of friends who want to cook together and sit by the fireplace, and women or men coming for a mini workshop or retreat — the space is naturally made for this. Provided Fast Wi-Fi, a fully-equipped, large kitchen, fireplace, two bathrooms (including one with a freestanding bathtub), bedding and towels basic toiletries (shampoo and body wash, hair dryer) The house is non-smoking, and although we love dogs, we respect the character of the house and do not accept pets. Sleeping Areas: - Bedroom 1 (ground floor): double bed or two single beds. - Bedroom 2 (upstairs): four single beds or two double beds. - Lounge on the second floor: Fold-out double sofa bed. - Living room (ground floor): single sofa bed. Up to 9 people in total, 6 in beds. Guest access The house is entirely at your disposal. Other things to note The house is non-smoking, and although we love dogs, We respect the character of the house and therefore do not allow pets.
