Accommodating 6 comfortably in 3 bedrooms, it's an ideal location for families, couples or friends with a south facing patio and log burner for the colder months. Well behaved dogs are welcome too! There's plenty to do, with walking and cycling on the door step and outdoor activities at How Stean Gorge and Studfold Farm. For day trips, Harrogate, York and Leeds are within easy reach as well as The Forbidden Corner, the Lightwater Valley Theme park and Masham with its brewery heritage. The space Fern Cottage has a cosy lounge with Morso log burning stove, a modern kitchen including dishwasher and a separate living / dining room with window seat. We have a smart TV fit you to watch Netflix etc along with an Xbox 360 for the kids (or adults!). There are also a selection of board games, card games and traditional African games to try your hand at. Upstairs are three bedrooms, two comfortable doubles with king size beds and a third with bunk beds along with a house bathroom, with shower and bath. Outside is a south facing outdoor seating area with BBQ available for use, perfect for enjoying the sun and watching village life come and go. We do welcome one well behaved dog, but kindly ask that four legged friends stay downstairs and leave the sofas for their owners, if that’s ok :) Guests also have access to the adjacent garage where we have washing and drying facilities, log store should you run out and space to store bikes or walking equipment along with a hose if you end up bringing half the trail back with you! Other things to note If you have an electric car, you are welcome to charge using your 13A 3 pin uk plug mobile charger. All we ask is you let us know roughly how many kWh you have used and we’ll just charge the (fully renewable) electricity at cost.
