Peaceful and Authentic Retreat with a Tay Family

My name is Ngọt (Sweet). My family lives in a traditional Tay stilt house built in 1962 in peaceful Lam Thuong village, 5 hours from Hanoi. We welcome you to eat with us, walk the village, swim in the mountain pool, and join our daily life. No tourist crowds, just real Tay culture and beautiful untouched nature. Rooms are cozy, food is homemade and plentiful. Come rest, explore, and feel at home. Price includes breakfast. Lunch and dinner is optional. The space Not many houses in Lam Thuong still look like ours. We have kept the traditional Tay architecture and the old customs, from the way we arrange the seating, the sacred areas of the house, to how we welcome guests. When you stay here, I will share these things with you. I think it is important to keep them alive. The rooms are clean and comfortable and we decorated them ourselves. No air conditioning, but our valley is cool and the fans work well. You will sleep well here, I promise. Other things to note Our homestay is perfect for you: If you want something real, not a tourist show. Lam Thuong is not on the tourist map yet. No souvenir shops, no big crowds. Just a real village with real people. I will take you to meet my neighbors, learn about Tay culture, and join our daily life. You are welcome to be part of it all; our village with rice fields, jungle paths and mountain streams. If you are craving a retreat to slow down and rest. Some guests come here tired and just need a quiet retreat in the countryside. Wake up to the sounds of nature, open your window and see the mountains right in front of your room. Breakfast is ready. Lunch is ready. Dinner is ready, you don't have to think about anything. During the day you can go for a walk, ride a bike around the valley, swim in the mountain pool, or just sit and do nothing. The village is safe and friendly and very calm. It is a good place to breathe again. How To Get Here We are about 5 hours from Hanoi, but it is an easy scenic drive. Transportation options include: 1. Limousine Van (Accommodates around 15 people, ~300,000 VND/per ticket): Van departs at 7:00 or 17:30 from Mỹ Đình bus station in Hanoi. Pay cash to the bus driver on the bus. This is the cheapest option and easy to do. The shuttle will drop you off on the main road, then we will come to get you. 2. Sleeper bus (Accommodates around 30 people, ~200,000 VND/ticket): Bus departs at 7:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:30, and 20:00 from Mỹ Đình bus station in Hanoi. The name of the bus is Du Tuyết (Ha Noi - Luc Yen), zone no.38 - 39 at the parking area behind the main hall (be there 20 minutes before departure). Pay cash to the bus driver on the bus. The shuttle will drop you off on the main road, then we will come to get you. 3. By private car (~2,000,000 VND/car): Door to door, straight to Lam Thuong.
