Cozy forest cottage - nature and city close by!

Want to enjoy the countryside, but still have everything within reach? Our cozy forest cottage is located in the small-scale Overbos recreation park in Hoevelaken. It is the perfect place, equipped with every comfort, to get away and enjoy yourself. The cottage is tucked away in a green, quiet garden where you have plenty of privacy. Here you wake up to the sound of birds and enjoy long, relaxing days outdoors. At the park, you will find a beautiful swimming pond where you can enjoy swimming in the summer. The space The forest cottage is located in the small and green Overbos recreation park, a place where peace, nature and relaxation are central. The park is beautifully tucked away between Landgoed Hoevelaken and the surroundings of Vathorst and therefore really feels like a hidden spot in the countryside. Inside you will find everything you need for a comfortable stay. The kitchen is well equipped with, among other things, a dishwasher, combi microwave and a fridge with freezer – ideal for cooking extensively yourself or simply for enjoying. There are two bedrooms: one with a comfortable double bed (Emma sleeps) and one with a bunk bed with games and toys – perfect for families or a small group. About recreation park Overbos: The heart of the park is the charming natural pool: a spacious swimming pond with a sandy beach and a sunbathing area where you can enjoy swimming, sunbathing or simply relaxing by the water. The swimming water has excellent water quality and is regularly checked, making it a nice and safe place for young and old. For children, there is plenty of space to play and play opportunities on the water. For those who want to be a bit more active, there is a multifunctional sports field where you can play soccer, basketball or just exercise. The park is spacious (about 8 hectares) and has limited car traffic, giving it a relaxed and safe atmosphere. The park is for recreational use only. Whether you come for peace, nature, a day of swimming or just to be active outdoors – here it immediately feels like a vacation. Guest access You have the whole place to yourself! Other things to note #About Overbos vacation park: Because the forest cottage is located at Recreatiepark Overbos, I am obliged to comply with the park rules. Therefore, I would like to indicate in advance that the stay is intended exclusively for recreational purposes. The forest cabin may not be used: • as temporary accommodation (for example, during work, a renovation or while waiting for a home); • for business purposes or as accommodation in connection with work in the area; • as a base for business activities or the practice of a profession; • in a different way that does not fit within a recreational stay. By making a reservation, you confirm that the stay is recreational in nature and in accordance with the park rules. #About the electricity: Because the forest cabin is located in a vacation park, the power supply is slightly more limited than you might be used to at home. To prevent a power outage, I would like to ask you not to use too many high-power appliances at the same time, such as the kettle, hairdryer, microwave or other appliances that require a lot of power. Should the power go out for a while, don't panic! Just walk by the reception at the park entrance. They can help you reset the circuit breaker in the outdoor cabinet. #About waste & laundry: The recreation park operates in an environmentally friendly manner and encourages waste separation. You can return glass, paper and plastic packaging for free in the recycling containers. You can dispose of general household waste in the designated waste bin with a rechargeable SEP-KEY card. Every time you throw away household waste, it costs €2.50. This is how household waste disposal works: 1. Insert your SEP-KEY into the waste disposal machine. 2. Wait a moment for the machine to register your card. 3. Remove your SEP-KEY. 4. Now you can open the dumpster and throw away one bag of household trash. The first time you throw away garbage (€2.50) has already been credited to your SEP-KEY, so you can use it once without adding extra money. Afterwards, you can top up the SEP-KEY at the reception. You can also use your SEP-KEY for the washing machines and dryers. You can also have this credit loaded onto the SEP-KEY at the reception.
