Description
One kingsize double room in the beautiful Wiltshire village of Aldbourne. This Georgian house is situated right in the heart of the village square, next to the village pond. You are also welcome to use the garden and dining room. There are two pubs, a cafe/shop, tearoom, small Co-op supermarket and chinese takeaway, all within a five minute walk. Free parking is available around the square. Bicycles and motorbikes can be accommodated in the locked garden shown in the pictures. Edit The space The whole house is centrally heated and features many period features. High speed wifi (70Mbps average) is accessible throughout the house. Dedicated USB charging points are in the socket next to the bed. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided in the room along with a small fridge. Please note - the kitchen and sitting room are not available to guests, but you are welcome to use the dining room and garden if you bring food back. Please do not eat takeaway food in the room. Guest access On arrival you will be given a set of keys to the front door, back door, and back gate. These will be yours for the duration of the stay and must be returned when you leave or a replacement fee of £50 will be added to the bill. During your stay This is my home. I am a freelance musician, so it's tricky to guarantee when I'll be here. Generally I am here during the day. There is another kingsize room, listed separately, which shares the same bathroom, dining room and garden areas. Other things to note Although I am not providing breakfast myself, the brilliant local shop/post office (a minute's walk away) has a cafe which is open from 8am to 4pm (Monday to Saturday) that can provide a wonderful breakfast and any other provisions you might require for your stay.
