NC500 Coastal Retreat | Balcony | Beach 3 Mins
Description
A peaceful, beautifully finished coastal retreat, just a three-minute walk from the beach. The Studio is stylish, light, modern and tranquil, with a glass-fronted balcony and lovely countryside and coastal views. Enjoy spectacular sunsets, watch red kites soar overhead, while rabbits, sheep and horses are regular neighbours. A wonderful sense of tranquility! Set on the beautiful Tarbat Peninsula, it’s perfectly placed for coastal walks, wildlife, golf and exploring the Highlands. The space The Studio has been thoughtfully designed and beautifully appointed to create a relaxing home from home, with quality, attention to detail and everything you need for a special stay. At its heart is a fabulous king-size bed, dressed in crisp white bed linen, with soft, fluffy white towels and thick white bathrobes. Guests regularly tell us how well they sleep here. The fresh, contemporary shower room has a powerful, invigorating shower – perfect after a day walking the coast or exploring the Highlands. The light-filled open-plan space has an inviting seating area, dining table for two and a well-equipped kitchen with oven and hob, microwave, fridge, Nespresso coffee machine and kettle. We’ve tried to think of all the little things that make a stay easy and relaxing, creating a space that feels more like a home than simply somewhere to sleep. Step through the doors onto your own glass-fronted balcony, with beautiful views across the surrounding countryside and towards the coast. It’s a lovely spot for morning coffee, watching the wildlife or sitting out as the sun goes down. The sunsets here can be spectacular. Inver beach is just a three-minute walk away. On many of the surrounding beautiful coastal walks you may spot seals, otters, seabirds and Moray Firth dolphins. Birdwatchers are particularly well placed, with red kites regularly seen overhead. The Tarbat Peninsula is a wonderful part of the Highlands to explore, with its Pictish heritage and ancient stones, pretty coastal villages and the ANTA workshops nearby. Take the ferry across to beautiful Cromarty, explore the wider Moray Firth coast or join the North Coast 500, only around six miles away. Golfers are spoilt for choice, with numerous excellent courses within easy reach, including some of the Highlands’ best-known links courses. The area is also one of the driest parts of Scotland and is rarely troubled by midges. Above all, what guests seem to love most about the Studio is its tranquillity. It’s modern, private and peaceful – somewhere to slow down, switch off and enjoy this beautiful corner of the Highlands. Guest access The Studio is completely self-contained and yours to enjoy in privacy throughout your stay. It has its own private entrance, reached via an external wooden staircase and glass-fronted balcony, with parking conveniently located immediately beside the Studio. Come and go as you please, settle in and make the space your own. With the beach just a three-minute walk away and beautiful countryside and coastal walks on the doorstep, exploring can begin from the moment you arrive. Other things to note We’ve tried to think of all the little details that make a stay feel special. You’ll find quality toiletries in the shower room, along with a thoughtfully stocked basket of those useful little essentials that are easily forgotten when travelling. A welcome selection of tea, coffee and herbal teas, fresh milk and biscuits will also be waiting for you when you arrive. We’re delighted to welcome well-behaved dogs, and with the beach and coastal walks just minutes away, it’s a wonderful place to bring them. The Studio is a peaceful retreat designed for two adults and is located on the first floor, reached by its own external wooden staircase, so it may not be suitable for guests with reduced mobility. Bed linen, soft white towels and thick white bathrobes are all provided, leaving you to simply arrive, settle in and enjoy your stay. Although wonderfully peaceful and rural, Tain is only a short drive away for shops, restaurants and other amenities.
