This special Heritage 5* apartment "FLEUR" exudes the elegance of a romantic country house with a touch of Provence in France. The rooms are bright, spacious and homely. This French country-style apartment is a spacious 55 square meters and was lovingly completed after the building's core renovation and modernization in May 2026. Quietly located on the green city limits of Homburg, only about 2 km from the center and with a public bus connection directly across the street. BUILDING HISTORY: The building was originally built well before 1912. Completely gutted, modernized and energized, this heritage house has been telling its own story of experiencing in the last 125 years in Saarland since 2025. Four completely different apartments explore the historical themes; one of them is still being developed. OUR IDEA: Here, I am offering the apartment "FLEUR." "FLEUR" represents the historic Franco-Saarland friendship and the romantic way of life in a rural setting, as well as the close proximity to France, which is only about a 30-minute drive away. THE STYLE: Here, you will find France in Saarland. We drew inspiration from our neighbors in the countryside and brought the French country house vibe, with its characteristic floral landscapes, to our place. In the process, we sourced original antique furniture, among other things, and modified some of it, such as the kitchen, which we created from an old sideboard and a genuine wooden top. During the complete renovation and conversion, we prioritized sustainability, and we continue to do so. We use reclaimed wood from the building for upcycling projects, such as the desk we made ourselves in this beautiful apartment or the kitchen countertop. WHAT'S SPECIAL: To go with that, they invite you to various typical French activities to make you feel even more like you're in France. Step into amazement and inspiration. Hard to beat in terms of coziness, it also doesn't lack comfort and modernity, such as the consistently fresh indoor air thanks to modern, decentralized ventilation (inaudible) or underfloor heating throughout the entire floor area, including in the shower. Outside area: You park your car for free on the property or right outside your own front door. For EV drivers, a high-performance 11 kW KEBA Type 2 wallbox is available for a fee, along with your own charging card and charging cable. Your breakfast terrace is in a quiet location overlooking the garden. (Currently somewhat restricted!) KITCHEN: From the DIY French country-style kitchen, featuring a built-in ceramic sink and a long countertop, you can go directly to the terrace, which is located next to the dining table. The open-plan living area adjoins it. LIVING AREA: The well-padded sofa can be folded out to serve as a third sleeping option and provides a comfortable sleeping surface, including a 125 x 190 cm topper. The wall-mounted Philips 50" TV is pivotable and can therefore be viewed from anywhere in the Lüchen living room. Alternatively, there are also a few board games and interesting books. Otherwise, you can also watch NETFLIX for free or explore the beautiful surroundings using our hiking equipment. SLEEPING AREA: A good night's sleep is guaranteed! The bedroom can be darkened using the electric roller blinds and features a romantic queen-size four-poster bed. Cozy and comfortable, equipped with several different pillows, wool blankets, a full-length mattress, and a topper, you'll sleep wonderfully. With its comfortable 160 x 200 size, there is plenty of space for two adults and undisturbed sleep. You can hang your clothes in the lovely closet or put them in the large dresser next door in the living room. By the way: Here you will also find the lockable safe, the ironing board, and the upcycled desk right by the window, equipped with a USB port and a reading light. BATHS: Here, I have provided plenty of space, storage areas, and places to hang things. Personally, there is nothing more annoying to me than having too few storage options in bathrooms all the time. The spacious, ground-level shower area with underfloor heating pampers you with a rainshower, and here, too, you will find a storage shelf. Next to the sink there is a shaving mirror, and next to the toilet there is a bidet hand shower – typical French, in fact 😊 By the way: Forgot care or hygiene items at home? No problem. Just in case, here are some help kits for you, including a hair dryer. Cleaning supplies, clothes rack, vacuum cleaner, hand brush, and washer-dryer also included. You can find laundry detergent here, which is of course free to use. Please respect the house rules to ensure a smooth process and feel good for all my guests. Check-in: starting at 3 pm Check-out until 10 am On request and, if possible, also sooner or later, if necessary. The entire apartment, including the breakfast terrace with a peaceful view of the garden, is available for your exclusive use. Free parking is available right in front of the house. ELECTRIC CARS: Our publicly accessible 11kW KEBA WALLBOX Type 2 charging station is primarily available for our guests to charge their electric vehicles in our free parking spaces. Billing is always automatic between you and your contractual partner at 59 cents/kWh plus a 50-cent activation fee per charging session. Make sure to stop the charging process after 4 hours so that there are no additional continuous charging costs (€6/h). To refuel, you only need your contract fuel card and your own Type 2 charging cable.
