High Ground Farm

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place where poisons have not been used in over 20 years. Native wildlife can often be seen. The farm is peaceful and feels secluded but only a kilometre from the town of Donnybrook, the Gateway to the Southwest. A cosy new accommodation unit has been built in a large new shed. Acres of dam and 10 acres of native bush are on your doorstep. Our high ground has 360° views. This is a working farm, so keep your eyes open while strolling around. The space High Ground Farm is 100 acres of pasture and areas of native bush. The North-South escarpment runs through the back half of the property and has spectacular views of the surrounding countryside. Our cattle are friendly and may approach you if you stand still for a while. The bush on the far side of the big dam is steep in places but worth the exercise. We recommend sturdy enclosed footwear while walking around. Guest access Accommodation is the bedroom, lounge/dining room, and the bathroom of the listing. We also reserve a second carport for you, and provide a table and chairs there so you can eat or relax outside if you prefer. Please don’t enter other parts of the shed, or any of the other buildings. You are free to walk around anywhere on this working farm at your own risk. We recommend sturdy supportive footwear.
