Stay centrally in charming Mariefred with the sparkling waters of Lake Mälaren right next door. Here you get the best of both worlds – a modern and well-maintained accommodation in the heart of the city, while also having nature and water around the corner. Enjoy a cup of coffee in the garden's several outdoor areas or walk to the nearby swimming piers for a cooling dip. Within easy walking distance, you will also find Gripsholm Castle, the historic Mariefreds Värdshus, and the town's cozy cafes, restaurants, and shops. The space The house is well-planned and offers generous common areas for both families and larger groups. On the ground floor, you will be met by a spacious hall with practical storage for outerwear and shoes. There is a fully equipped kitchen with a kitchen island and dining area for up to six people, as well as a cozy sitting area with a sofa and armchair – a natural place for socializing. The mezzanine level has a fresh bathroom with a bathtub, a dresser, and a towel dryer. Next door is a laundry room equipped with a washing machine, drying facilities, and an iron and ironing board. There is also a spacious bedroom with a double bed and two smaller bedrooms, both with single beds and closets. Upstairs, there is a bright and airy living room with two large sofas, two armchairs and a TV. From here, you can access the furnished balcony with table and chairs, where you can enjoy a nice view of the water. On the same floor, there is another bedroom with a single bed, a desk and a closet. An extra bed can easily be placed in the room if needed. There is also a toilet with shower here. Outside, a large terrace awaits with a dining area for six people and a comfortable lounge set for five people – perfect for long summer evenings. A grill is available to borrow, and there is parking available for a car on the property. Guest access As a tenant, you have access to all areas of the house. Some closets and storage spaces will however be locked as they are used to store personal belongings. Bed linens and towels are to be brought by the guest. Other things to note For everyone's comfort, the following rules apply during the stay: - Charging an electric vehicle on the property is not permitted. - Out of consideration for neighbors, music and other disturbing noise levels should be avoided after 10 pm. - Parties and large gatherings are not allowed in the accommodation. - The minimum age for renting the accommodation is 25 years. Younger guests are welcome in the company of a guardian.
